Ideal location, good breakfast, staff very polite ,friendly & helpful. For the grade of hotel I think the use of the computer should be free-we wanted to check in our flight online & thought paying 6 euros for 2 minutes on the computer a bit steep. |

Excellent position, and very helpful staff, all functioning at a high level of competence. Excellent Bistro, and excellent breakfast. The Normandie restaurant was closed on Saturday evening, seemingly at pretty short notice. The hair-dryer in the room didn't work, discovered by my wife after she'd washed her hair. |

The location was fantastic, good breakfast, nice restaurant downstairs. The hotel interior is quite old and tired, but is saved by the location. |

The old-fashioned atmosphere and the magnificent view over the statue of Gëlle Fra and the valley. It is perefectly situated in the town center. The breakfast buffet was very good, especielly the egg & bacon. The bed was not extremely comfortable and I had hoped to have a down quilt with a duvet cover instead of the usual blanket, as it is four star hotel. I hoped to have yoghurt from the excellent domestic dairy Luxlait, but was offered French youhurt. |

It is an old building and the rooms they do need renovation nevertheless it is at a great location, ideal for any purpose one is visiting luxemburg. Itis right in hte centre, 2min walk to the bus stations and 5min walk to the elevator to take you down to grund. Service is good (polite and prompt), the room facilities not so great, the breakfast needs improvement in variety, and the corridor smell. |

Breakfast room looks very imperial and has a beautiful view. Stayed at room 103, so called quiet single room which faces a small patio. Dark and very warm rooms, no air condition, I don't recommend them. |

very nice bathroom; breakfast buffet; location very old-fashioned; expensive; asking for unreasonable extra-money for television and internet; partly old equipment; my room was very hot (end of September), without proper window and cooled down by nothing than an old, energy consuming ventilator. |

The location of this hotel is perfect for travelers to Luxembourg City. It is right in the heart of the tourist section of the city, steps to resturants and shopping. The staff was wonderful, very accomadating. A fan would have been nice. |

Its is centrally located in a great position with clean and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. With the discount rate its was very good value for money. Some of the hotels fixtures and fittings are a bit tired and old fashioned and could do with renovation/modernisation. |

The hotel was close to the shopping areas and the main town.... and of course, the world famous 'Grund'......has to be visited!! Hotel had that 'Hercule Poirot' feel to it.........stuck in the mid 20th century. Having read some of the reviews, I made it clear when booking that I wanted a superior double room which had been refurbished. so my booking form confirmation showed that we had indeed a superior double room with lovely views of the valley (Grund)....when we checked in we were 'off-loaded' to room 333 which was a dreadful un-refurbished room. When I drew the desk to the fact that I had booked a superior room, I was immediately given the key to room 659 without an apology!! (Which was obviously the room we were allocated in the first place) |

Cleanliness, room was spacious, rich and pleasant breakfast, location is very convenient The hotel and furniture is quite aged and in need of renovation, the decoration is out of fashion, the hotel staff is not up to the mark of the hotel category. |

An excellent position, particularly if travelling by train and visiting the city. The room was a generous size and the staff really helpful. The breakfast kept us going until supper. |

Location is the best possible to visit Old city and Restaurants. The sanitary equipment is very old and in poor but workable condition. No silence proof in the rooms. |
