The Hotel Resturant Hientz is a very comfortable, luxury hotel and excellent value for money! It is perfectly situated in the beautifull little town of Vianden. The staff are always welcoming and helpfull; and very knowledgable of the local, and larger area of Luxembourg. The food is excellent, breakfast superb. We would definately recomend this hotel. |

This charming hotel has nice rooms and a beautiful decor inside. It is located conveniently in town. No AC, but that's fine for most of the year. The staff knows the area very well. Great for the price! Must reserve parking in advance if you plan to drive to Vianden. Parking costs 7 Euros/day and is limited. |

We loved this small, family-run hotel! The owners are friendly, helpful, and speak English too! The room is spacious and airy. (There is no air-conditioning but this is the norm in this part of the world.) The hotel is well-located on the main street, next to the Trinity Church/cloisters. Parking is limited in Vianden but we struck lucky with 1 of 3 free places in town, in a laneway next to hotel and church! (Hotel will assist with special daily/overnight rates in town car parks.) This hotel has character, an old world charm, with old,warm oak in abundance. This is combined with 21st century essentials -excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of options. We didn't want to leave! To make hotel perfect, suggest installation of safety deposit box in each room. |

The rooms were well appointed, large/spacious and very clean. The bedding was comfortable and the breakfast (at an extra fee) was excellent as was the cheese fondue dinner. Family room could only accommodate three people so we needed to rent a second room as we were 5. Also the noise from the traffic work us up early. As we were only in Vianden for a few days this was not a problem. |

Really pleased to find hotel. Rooms very clean and beds really comfortable. Went with partner and 7 year old. Owners gave suggestions for things they thought would be of interest, which was lovely. Hope to stay again sometime soon. Not a dislike as such, but would have liked some fruit at breakfast, otherwise continental breakfast very good. Nice to be able to boil your own egg! |

Very central and staff very helpfull. Charming breakfast room and reseved parking space a luxury in the town. Breakfast very limited and not good value for the price. Did not eat at restaurant in evening as finished serving at 1900 hours! |

The lady who ran the hotel was extremely helpful, and spoke excellent English. I was travelling with my niece, and had booked a triple room, as I couldn't find a twin room listed on the website. We were given a family room, which was actually two separate rooms, linked by the bathroom. The rooms were both spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel building was quaint, spotlessly clean, and decorated with lots of interesting artifacts and pieces of furniture, which added to the overall presentation. There was a very pretty courtyard-type garden, crammed full of pottted plants. Breakfast was plentiful, and included cereals, meats and cheeses, croissants, bread, fruit and yoghurt. The free wifi was most appreciated. As seems to be common with many European hotels, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. The design of the shower and taps meant that it was difficult to avoid turning the water off, by accident, when showering. |

Breakfast was fine. Excellent service - the owner of the hotel was very helpfull and gave us lots of advice where to go and what to see. Its a good idea to stay here and drive to and from Luxembourg city for a sightseing. |

The location was excellent; within walking distance (1-5 minutes) of restaurants, bakeries, pubs, etc. Additionally, it was easy to walk to the castle from the hotel without much effort. |
