Run by the same family for 4 generations this hotel is situated in the heart of the medieval town of Vianden, close to the famous town wall.

In the Middle Ages, the charming building was part of the famous Trinitarian Monastery. Completely restored, the hotel offers 30 comfortable rooms, a restaurant and garden-terrace, a garden, an old-inn, private parking and a garage for motor-bikes.

The hotel is open from 20 March to 3 November 2008.

Hotel information

Our family has been looking out for the well-being of our guests for 4 generations.

All the rooms have a new bathroom with shower, WC, and a flat-screen TV. There is a lift to all rooms. The comfortable balcony rooms all have a private balcony facing south, overlooking the garden and the town-wall of Vianden.

Completely restored, the hotel offers you a restaurant and a garden-terrace with French cuisine, Luxembourg specialities and a rustic wine-bar.

Food & beverage

The half-board menu is a 4-course menu with a choice for the main-course at an additional cost per person.

Room information

All our rooms are non-smoking. Our comfortable balcony rooms all have a private balcony, overlooking the garden and the town-wall of Vianden. You are allowed to smoke outside on the balconies. You can reach every floor by lift.

Great location with great access to the Castle and village

WiFi access only in the hallways and bar/restaurant. So at night only way to use was to sit outside ya room. No mention of this on site

They allowed our motorbikes to be kept in the garage overnight at no cost and so they were safe. Friendly and helpful reception.

lovely location - helpful owner - she spoke English very well, advised on trips, sold us home-made wine and honey (both yet to be sampled), balcony worth having. Breaklfast good value. We ate in Vianden - quite a good choice of meals.

wanted a fridge at times in the room - very hot in Ardennes late July.Car parking (reserved) essential in busy summer season.

We travel a lot. The Heintz was the nicest hotel we ever stayed. The place is charming, food is excellent, and the owners (managers) are friendly and competent

The location was beautiful. Parking easy and the room was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful and very understanding and patient with our almost 2 year old son. The Hotel restaurant had great food and the outside patio seating perfect for our little family.
