Hotel Dirbach Plage

The site is superb; quiet,tranquil, romantic with the river right next to it. The restaurant is first class by any standards and they were very flexible with the menues when we found we did not want so much of the lovely food. The wines on offer were excellent. The staff were not only very friendly but also most interesting to talk with. The chef was attentive and pleasant and cooked very well. All this was a* and above.

The room was very small and not up to the standard we had in Germany, more like France a few years back. The view was super but the window opening would not stay as we wanted and had to be proped open with the bottle opener! The bathroom was adequate but not up to the standards we would expect in the 21st century and for the price. I believe there are renovations planned.

Delightful owner who couldn't be more helpful backed by equally impressive staff. Good rustic fare and a charming relaxed feel

The staff was very accomodating. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had on vacation. Beautiful scenery, set off in the woods by itself. Breakfast was good and the staff spoke wonderful English. There was tourist information available for the area. Free parking was nice.

The bathroom was extra small - the size of an airplane bathroom, literally. And the attached shower was equally small. We would still stay there again, just be prepared for the tiny bathroom.

We stayed for one night only, unfortunately! Very friendly welcome. Location beautiful. Never slept as well in any hotel!

The staff pampered me beyond belief. The flyfishing was very good. The food was excellent. The manager has done an incredible job of putting together a very hard working team that seem to love their jobs.

Although the room was small, with a very small bathroom, it did not bother us at all. It was the first hotel we could actually get sleep in. It is located on a river bank and surrounded by breathtaking nature.

Service was sometimes a little bit slow in the restaurant area and the menu is not in english.

Vriendelijk onthaal. Lekker gegeten. Geen cullinaire hoogstandjes, maar degelijke lekkere kost en meer dan voldoende. Alles was keurig schoon en ademde een huiselijke sfeer uit. Kortom, ondanks die ene tegenvaller, zal ik beslist nog eens terugkomen.

De mini badkamer was een tegenvaller. Door de beoordelingen op deze site waren wij gewaarschuwd, maar desondanks was ik niet voorbereid op de mini caravan unit die ons ten deel viel.
