Comfortable room, excellent location, slept very well.
OK breakfast but no hot meal, no fresh salad. Swimming pool small, saunas presumably working but stream bath stopped working, infra red one we could not switch on, bubble bath not switching on- only cold water. Open 9-19 only. Room could have included coffee-making facilities
We were staying in Hotel Du Commerce over the weekend, in a nice room with a view to the castle. The hotel is well-located (20 mins from the train station towards the city centre), beautiful and clean. It was a good value for money as the price included standard breakfast buffet, as well as access to the gym and a wellness centre with a swimming pool and several saunas (one heated with stones, hamam and infrared). We also enjoyed a slow dinner at the hotel with a nice atmosphere and good food.
Some things that could be improved on were customer service. We requested a late checkout in advance but were not informed that we would have to pay 25/50 euros for additional several hours (standard check-in/out times are 3 PM / 11 AM). Another thing was that we had to ask several times for a spare towel and to set up saunas when they were off, and first were told they don't work but after we insisted they were set up. More attention from staff would be appreciated, but overall it was a nice stay.
nice modern clean room, good comfort, there was even a spa :)
hair drying system old and not working, bits and peaces needed updating
Location is great and close to a good range of restaurants and bars. We took a junior suite and the room was great, nice view, comfortable bed, Free WiFi, clean, and in room safe and minibar. Breakfast included.
Make sure to let the hotel know if you are arriving after 6pm, as reception is not manned 24hrs. Mini bar is basic and bar closes early, but plenty of options within walking distance. Parking is just across the road.
Everything, and the spa bath was wonderful!
The hotel is situated on a busy road, but the traffic didn't really bother us when the windows were closed.
Location at center, quietness during night, spa wellness with sauna access included in room price
Bed matrases were like sleeping on moving springs, not good sleep, breakfast was fair
Comfortable beds, friendly, multilingual staff, (pretty town with great views and decent selection of restos) continental breakfast with above average quality and selection.
Strange musty smell in the washroom (despite being very clean and updated) and restricted check-in and check-out (result of August country-wide vacation?) early in the week (between 5-7 pm, check-in and checkout 10:45 am vs. 11 am).
Staff exceedingly kind and helpful. Permitted me to change plans at short notice without charge. Much appreciated
Location, Excellent breakfast (included)
No airco in the rooms which made for hot room during hot days we were there (28°c).
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel! The indoor pool and sauna are undoubtedly a big plus!
Good location, swimming pool is OK. Just wished I stayed somewhere else, like anywhere else
- There is always a 1st for everything, having a door shut in my face by one of the hotel staff is a 1st for me - This hotel is SERIOUSLY dated. Green bathroom suite, cheap 10+ year old IKEA style cupboards around the bed - Very dated wallpaper - This is the first hotel I have visited which supplied the VERY VERY cheapest toliet paper you can get (ie you get better in 99% of public loos) - Room safety notice. You would expect this to be is a visible place not glued to the bottom shelve of one of the bottom cabinets - No tea / coffee facilities in the room - Saunas etc you need special tokens - One of the smallest hotel TVs I have seen - No shower curtain or screen - Minimum amount of shower gel - No hotel safe - Breakfast was OK, nothing special - Rude staff - If you fancy looking at a car park pay the extra and get a 'room with a view (I mean balcony) - We have a double bed which came with two separate single bed duvets (ok some people might like this)
