Hotel Restaurant Braas  

Hotel Restaurant Braas was a wonderful place to stay. It is located in a delightful village south of the road between Ettelbruch, Luxembourg and Bastogne, Belgium. It is in the "country", very peaceful and the views are magnificent from the upstairs windows. It was also easy to find. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed hearing about what happened in their village during the Battle of the Bulge. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Internet worked very well in the bar. Hotel also has a lift so no need to drag heavy suitcases up stairs.

Great personalized service

The mattresses and down comforter was very comfortable! The free breakfast in the morning was very convenient and good.

The room was very chilly upon arriving but gradually warmed up after we turned up the heat. The room decor needs updating but no big deal to us.

The food served to us on evening meal was over cooked and the small amount of diced veg. out of a tin. Wouldn't eat there again.

The gentleness of the staff and the spacious room. Also the breakfast is generous. Very quiet and safe area.

The furniture, though in good condition, is outdated, but you can also enjoy this as a jump in the seventies.

location and views were wonderful, staff welcoming and friendly. Secure motorcycle parking was also a plus for us. spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms.

Nothing extraordinary for that price.But we got a good luck with this hotel,because there is another hotel just around the corner,likely neighbouring with a pig stall and the pretty stench polluted the entire street.

Nice and personal contact in reception/bar in the evening. Gave good guidelines about other options for dining, sightseeing. Big rooms - mainly for sleep Homemade applejuice for a nice breakfast

I was really impressed with this hotel. I took a chance with a non refundable pre payment and paid evening meal. It was situated on the corner of crossroads and easy to find. Quiet location. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to room. Room was a little on the dark side but spacious, clean and more than adequate. The evening meal was excellent value. Staff spoke English which was a bonus. I was travelling on my own for a cycling trip. I look at hotels and ask myself would I rake the wife here and it is a definite yes. Only stayed one night to break up jormey home but would have liked to stay longer.

I paid for my stay at time of booking. When I went to check out they asked for full payment. However they soon rectified this very graciously.

Very far off the beaten track. No food anywhere nearby.

The hotel was very clean, private, comfortable, nice size rooms, fridge in the room, great food, nicest hotel agents, great breakfast choices, easy parking. Quiet, good location for vacationers needing to stay in that area. Close to Luxembourg city, but not too close. Central location and made it easy to reach all areas of Luxembourg . Would choose to stay their again.

oubollig, eigenaar in eerste instantie wat nors, later beter. inchecken staat nergens aangegeven maar gewoon achter de bar.

Zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardige uitbater. Goed slaapcomfort: goede bedden en geen lawaai van naburige kamers. Eenvoudig maar lekker ontbijt. Zeer lekker avondmaal (menukaart). Nette kamers.

Prima ontbijt, schone kamer en sanitair.

Armoedig hotel maar wat wil je voor die prijs. Ontbijt bestond uit paar boterhammen die uit een zak geschud werden.

Vriendelijke bediening, schoon , redelijk geprijsd, als je alleen maar iets te slapen zoekt prima

Uitgestorven dorp , wel erg oudbollig maar wel netjes en schoon

Armoedig, slechte bedden. Ontbijt stelde niks voor.

Die ersten 2 Tage gab es kein frisches Brot (?) Sauberkeit in den alten Zimmern nicht sehr gut (Staub und Schmutz bei den Heizkörpern (Schlafzimmer & Badzimmer) Sehr "hellhörig" (hatte das Zimmer neben dem Fahrstuhl) Kleinster Fernseher (alt), den ich je zu Gesicht bekam...!

De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Ze geven o.a. tips over leuke evenementen in de regio.
