IBIS Hotel Luxembourg Aeroport  

The hotel is located 500 meters from the Airport. You just exit the airport door, cross the parking area, then turn left and you'll see it at just a few minutes walking distance. I arrived late at night and check- in was very quick. My room was small and basic furnished, but clean and quiet, with a small flat tv but no mini-bar unfortunately. If you are thirsty you can go down to the ground floor where there are automatic machines for coffee, snacks and water. There's a free wi-fi internet access in the building, I did appreciate it a lot. I paid 82 Euro per night, breakfast excluded. That's a good value for money. Breakfast costs 14 Euro, a bit pricy, but the quality and variety of foods is good. I therefore recommend this hotel to those seeking a simple accommodation near the airport for no more than a few days. One suggestion: don't call cab to reach the city center, cabs are really expensive!, You can rather go by bus, ticket is 1.5 Euro and bus 16 goes from the airport to the train station that's in the heart of the city center.

Cable fell out of the back of the TV and it was impossible to plug it back in! Otherwise everything OK.

I chose this hotel because I was looking for a family room for 2 adults and 2 children close to Luxembourg city. I liked this practical aspect, the room was big and clean and the bathroom nice. The beds were of good quality. The breakfast was varied and nice and the breakfast area lighty and nicely arranged. Even if the hotel is next to the airport, there was no noise.

The only thing that disturbed me was the noise of the rain on the outside plastic window table. The receptionist told us that the breakfast was until 10 am but in reality it was until 11 am and even 12 am. But this was not a problem as we were anyway intending to eat before 10 am.

There is no possibility to open the window inside the room,no fresh air!!!!!

Convenient location, clean, staff were polite and helpful.

Breakfast buffet was unappealing and expensive (so I didn't bother). Also no staff around at breakfast (at least not during the 5 minutes that I was waiting).

Location abd wifi

Only one electric socket in room They made us wait at the airport for 30 minutes before they sent the airport shuttle to get us. Also, they wanted 5 euros for coffee and a pastry in the morning. Any other hotel would have offerred this as complimentary.

The rooms were very nicely laid out for families -- the bunk bed idea is a great one! We will check out other Ibis Hotels as a result.

The hotel was in poor repair. The carpets were fades, the walls seemed dingy and the place needed an uplift.

There was nothing good

Too much tourist people, non-confortable parking, very expensive breakfast, very poor wifi-connection and non-talking well on english receptionist.

Excellent proximity to the airport so excellent for an early morning flight. We could easily walk to the hotel from the airport. Taxi into the city was expensive at around 40 euro but it was easy to catch a bus from the airport for only 1.50 euro at most times of the day. Fairly standard decor but clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff - this hotel very much suited our needs for a one night stop on route to France by car. Easy to find with plenty of free and spacious parking and free wifi. We decided to walk the couple of minutes over to the busstop at the airport to go into the city centre for the evening and it was easy to get back without worrying about parking in town. The rooms are small, but clean and tidy - ideal for those looking for a cheaper option. For those with a car, there is an excellent supermarket located about 15 mins drive away, inside a modern shopping mall - perfect for stocking up for the car journey/holiday ahead.
