Le Pavillon  

Right beside the small town centre in quiet location, with parking close by. Free wi-fi.

Room was a little bit small and staff only had limited English speaking. Hotel website shows they accept Amex, but they do so reluctantly!

Quiet, diligent and careful service. Homely in a welcoming sense. Clean as a pin with good selection of decor. Ideally situated in main square of town. Rustic with charm and efficiency.

Warm welcome. Steep staircase (and no lift) but pleasant atmosphere. Room small, but breakfast excellent and price acceptable. Only complaint was that the shower tended to go from cold to scalding without warning presumably because it was also being used by patrons in the room above. Position at the top of the pedestrain walkway through the centre of town made it especially convenient for shops, restaurants and even the post office, etc. Bus from Luxembourg City dropped us at the foot of the same walkway - a short distance with luggage, but easy walking without. We especially enjoyed being able to walk over the bridge to Germany and up the "mountain" (steep hill above the river) to the little shrine/chapel there. On the second day we walked to the roman villa ruins and the lake. Medieval, Roman and World War ii history all around. A worthwhile trip.

Shower tended to change from cold to scalding without warning - due, I presume to use by others in rooms above)

We stayed in the appartment in the second floor: The appartment was not new, but good enough. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. It was possible to pay with visa.

No problem to park the car, but a few hundred meters away. No lift but not a big problem, we were with our 5 months old baby and it was not so bad.

Absense of an elevator, which would have been useful traveling with a small child.

The relaxed and friendly approach by all staff together with the informal attitude of the building made our stay memorable. The cleanliness of the hotel is to be admired.

Difficulty of finding the hotel with all the road closures and also then trying to find a parking spot.

Wij hebben veel van de omgeving genoten vooral de natuur. Het diner in Pavillon was uitstekend en goede bediening.

De mini Suite had twee slaapkamers. Dit is zeer gemakkelijk voor de kinderen en geeft hun een veilig gevoel.

Nacht lawaai tot 1uur. Je hoort alles van de straat.

Schoon: goed Maar matig ontbijt

Ik vind dat als een hotel open is met oud en nieuw , dat je dan kan eten en drinken. Maar niets van dit . De deur ging dicht en je kon via de achter deur naar binnen. Geen bar open. Geen restaurant open zoek het maar uit. Dan moet je niet open zijn op die dagen als je de mensen geen eten en drinken kan serveren .Of geef dit aan in de advertentie. Voor ons een blikje uit de automaat met oud en nieuw jammer

1. Geräuschdämpfung I n n e r h a l b des Hotels vorbildlich , weil extrem leise ; das Schließen der Nachbarstüren und andere Geräusche aus Nebenzimmern sind kaum hörbar. Das ist wegen der alten und erfreulich sehr soliden Bausubstanz , auch international , absolute Spitzenklasse! 2. Die Zimmer sind klein , aber gemütlich und die Betten sehr gut ! 3. Zentralere Lage in Echternach als hier gibt es nicht !

Die Lärmdämpfung der Außenfenster/Dichtigkeit zur Straßenseite/Fußgängerzone , bei uns speziell in der Nacht auf Neujahr 2012 , ist stark verbesserungsbedürftig !

Nous avons séjourné un we dans cet hôtel qui est très confortable très propre et le personnel d'une extrême gentillesse idéalement situé pour le départ d'une visite de la ville. Le restaurant à une carte variée et les prix sont abordable sauf pour le poisson l

Un seul hic pour cet hôtel l'accès aux chambres ou l'escalier est très raide et l'hôtel ne possède pas d'ascenseur dommage

de echte reden dat wij voor dit hotel hebben gekozen was, omdat we drie honden hebben en die mee wilde nemen in het muller-thal. twee labradors en een maltezer. dat was bijna het enige hotel waar we met de drie honden binnen mochten. wel moesten we daardoor een "mini suite" nemen. dit was een kamer voor vier personen terwijl wij maar met z'n twee waren. dit was het enige negatieve aan ons verblijf daar. ze waren daar super voor ons en voor de honden. alles is super gelopen en de honden hebben zich dol geamuseerd in de muller-thal bossen en bergen. mvg
