The Golden Tulip Central Molitor is a business and a tourist hotel ideally situated, halfway between the financial, the main business districts and the railway station. It is also within walking distance from the shopping avenues and entertainment. Tourist attractions such as the fortifications, the casemates, the narrow streets of the old city, the Grand Ducal Palace etc.. and many other sites are just 5-15 minutes walk from the hotel. Taxis and city busses are in front of the hotel.

Nice confortable rooms, close to the city center (10 minutes walking time), good breakfast buffet, cheap price. Many major bus lines stop right in front of the hotel (e.g. the bus to the airport which takes about 20 minutes).

Major street runs in front of the hotel! Nevertheless, I got a room in the back of the hotel which was quite and nice. Apparently guests are naturally booked in room that does not face the street.

I think that prices for the week-days are a bit higher than supposed to be. My business limit is Euro 130 per night so, I did pay by myself the rest of the amount of Euro 165.

Perfect location: 5 min walk from the railway station and 10 min walk from the centre of town. Good breakfast.

Bathroom window: If you are inside the bathroom, you cannot see anything outside (non-transparent glass window), but an image (clearer than blur) can be seen from outside. It would be better if the glass would be placed the opposite way i.e. inside out.

The hotel was just ok. Nothing fancy, but I can recommend, especially if you need a nice place to sleep not too far away from the city centre.

Breakfast, and location

It's not really a four star hotel, it's more of a 3 star. Tea pot element in the room had rust. Noisy being situated on a main road, however if you close the windows it's ok. The safe closed with a key which was too bulky to carry around.

Hotels in luxembourg are maybe expensive. I would expect much more for my money in many other cities in Europe. A bit shabby and noisy. Generally clean though
