It`s a very cosy motel with good location and very convenient for travelling by car. It`s a very good parking. Our car was in front of our room. It`s a short distance to get to the centre of Strassbourg by car and by tram. The rooms are too small. The triples could be more large.It was a big surprise that the cost for petits dejeuners wasn`t included in the announced prise.

Dit is een klassiek motel, genre Amerikaanse road movie. De kamer was goed in zijn soort, met een volledig vernieuwde badkamer. De manager was erg vriendelijk en deed zijn best om de gasten ter wille te zijn. Het ontbijt was niet slecht. Vlak voor de deur van het motel stopt er een pendelbus die rechtstreeks naar het stadscentrum en vandaar naar de Kirchberg rijdt; handig als je daar moet wezen: de bus zeker sneller is dan de wagen in de Luxemburgse ochtendspits. Grootste tekortkoming: de kamer was koud; met de verwarming volledig open was de kamer te harden, maar zeker niet gezellig. Het kamerbreed tapijt zou ook wel eens een keertje vervangen mogen worden.

Der Empfang war erster Klasse. Die Empfangsdame war freundlich, charmant, hilfsbereit. Die Lärmkulisse der Autobahn ist unangenehm, aber normal für ein Motel. Wir kommen gern wieder zurück.

Motel Drive In is gemakkelijk bereikbaar, heeft ruime, gratis parkeergelegenheid. De receptie is tot 23:00u bezet. Het ontbijt is heel minimaal voor 8 Euro. Eén ciabatta, 2 boterhammen, koffie/thee en jus d'orange. Beleg: alles in kuipjes, hoofdzakelijk zoet.

Het hotel heeft vergeleken bij een paar jaar terug, meer aan de kamers gedaan.Goede, wel harde bedden. Prima douche. Verlichting boven het bed was ook heel goed. Jammer, dat de receptioniste alleen maar Frans kon spreken Tegenvallen is een groot woord. Maar.. Men moet wel eens wat aan het tapijt doen. Vernieuwing, zou niet misstaan. Men heeft de prijs sinds vorig jaar verhoogd. Ik heb vorig jaar dacht ik 90- of 95 Euro betaald en dat lijkt mij in verhouding tot andere locaties, terecht.

Einfaches, aber ordentliches Hotel mit ausreichend großen Zimmern. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Für kurze Aufenthalte prima geeignet.
