Excellent hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the wonderful lady on reception who dealt with the parking wardens who had slapped a ticket on the car as we were unloading! Loved the 'James Bond' parking and it was great to know that the car was safe in a city. Hotel within a few minutes of many shops, restaurants and the sights. Our room (31) was wonderful, quiet for us as a Monday night but could probably be noisy at weekends. Very comfy bed, wonderful paintings on the wall and we wish we could have stayed longer.

People were fantastic and couldnt do enough for us ... the breakfast was world class.

Very bad location opposite an obvious party hotspot! Unbelievably loud till early in the morning thursday through saturday.

My room, actually rooms, was very spacious. It is located in the old part of the city, across the street from the palace, so it is very convenient to walk around. It's a small property, ten rooms I think, but very comfortable and friendly. It's more like staying with friends or family than checking into a hotel.

It can be difficult to find. I arrived at night in the rain, so I had a difficult time finding the hotel. I think it would have been easier during daylight. I would advise you to bring a good map if you are unfamiliar with the city.

The hotel stuffs are very friendly and helpful. It is very relaxed atmosphere. I personally like the cafe/bar inside the hotel. Excellently wine and very good service. :)

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the location of the the hotel. Staff were very helpful and very willing to please.

Lack of tea/coffee-making facility in room. No English speaking television channels. Lack of storage space (shelves/drawers) in bedroom. Armchairs could have been more comfortable.

Clean quiet hotel with great location two minute walk to old town sights. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast before a long day touring. The automated parking garage as pretty cool also.

Good Location, Superb Service. Pub across road a little lively some nights but didnt disturb our stay at all.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was very clean with lots of windows, a great bathroom and all of the 4 star amenities. One really cool thing was that the room had a laptop for your use and wifi if you brought your own. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful with standard continental fare as well as eggs, sausage or bacon, homemade jams, fresh squeezed juice, a cheese plate (yum) and cold meats, incl. lox. The location is ideal, a building away from the Dukes palace and a block from the casemates as well as some great shopping! They were very accommodating with our kids (4 and 1.5) and in our room was a port-a-crib and roll away bed. And the parking structure is really cool, one of only 3 in Europe!

The only negative has nothing to do with the hotel, but with it's neighbors. It is right across the street from a bar and another one is a couple doors down. Very loud! The room was supplied with earplugs, but not very helpful when you have a baby. None of us slept well due to the noise. Oh, and no A/C either. So the heat and noise combined didn't make for a good nights sleep.
