Hotel Parc Bellevue  

Unfortunately, reception staff were not very welcoming, barely smiled and barely greeted on our way in or out. Also, our room that bathroom & toilet separated, although within the room, yet very inconvenient. Very small room.

I made two bookings. The first was 28-30 January. I then made a second booking for 31 January. I took the booking for 31 January to the reception on the evening of 30, showed my booking.com booking and asked if we could stay in the same room and she made a call and said we would be in the same room and it was all confirmed. At 12.30 midday on 31 January I received a call from Le Parc Bellevue asking when I was going to move out as the hotel was fully booked and if I wanted to stay in the same room an extra night it would cost 125 euros. I returned to Le Parc Bellevue at 1.30 pm on 31 January and found my key to the room did not work any more. Fortunately my wife was still inside the room and could let me in. I went to reception and showed them my booking.com reservation for 31 January at a cost of 95 euro including buffet breakfast for 2 included and the receptionist was very surprised and said the booking had not been entered in the system. After a while she was able to sort it out. I asked for breakfast vouchers for tomorrow but she said just give your room number. The breakfast will be automatically included now. We went to breakfast. It was included in the bill, and we were charged the correct amount for the two combined bookings.

The location was ideal for our needs. Close enough to town to walk easily and convenient to other locations for business. Nice views of the valley and surrounding area.

The restaurant was onsite but not connected so you had to go outside of the hotel to reach it.

Extremely good value for money at the rate booked, excellent location, convenient in every way, friendly service, free upgrade to a suite because no standard doubles available, could leave our bags in the lobby all afternoon after check-out, free wifi in lobby, free morning coffee in lobby

Room and bath were spotless except for an overlooked hair tendril on the shower attachment - no big deal. Fully satisfied with the hotel and the suite's size and amenities.

Its location was great. Five minute walk to city center and buses, but window view from the room that was beautiful. It was also nice to be across from a park.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. It is situated right on the edge of the gorge that runs through the city and the rooms have amazing views. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of the city, we did not use our car here at all. The car park had easy access. Inside the rooms are a little small but definitely adequate. The bed and pillows are really comfortable and the linen is of excellent quality. We booked three double rooms and they were all spotless. Compact bathroom with good shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast at 20 euro per person is a little expensive. It would be great if there was free wi-fi.
