Score from 20 reviews Good
- very comfortable bed - good restaurant - nicely equiped
- room is so small that there is no place to store the luggage - very loud, you can here everything out side - very loud air condition, impossible to sleep mirrow in bathroom too far away
Good Italian food. Great rooms and nice comfortabel bed
There was a animale ( think a mice) whole night busy digging a whole in the roof (512)
Great staff, quality of food very good and room very design!
General comfort of the room Great Bathroom TV channels Clear explanations on how to retrieve your key (reception desk closed at 12.00 on Monday)
Entrance door just under my room, so was annoyed until late in the night by people getting in/out and slamming this big heavy door... Could simply be addressed by installing adequate smooth closing system...
the room was lovely end very clean, attentive staff, restaurant awesome.
The room was comfortable. Good bed, lighting, bathroom. The facility was quite. The food in the restaurant was good and well priced. The staff made us feel very much at home.
It was hard to find the place. Without GPS it might cause some concerns for some. Parking is on the street.
nice rooms, good quality, very clean
defective noisy airconditioning woman at the reception is quite arrogant choise of bread at breakfast is limited
It is a very stylish and elegant hotel. We had looked forward to try the restaurant but unfortunately it didn't fit into our plans. We are sure it would have been a pleasure too.
Our room was nicely designed and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent though a little pricey. Parking is possible nearby.
The breakfast was rather poor; we got it included in the room price but wouldn't pay 10e for it.
The room is clean and modern. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Location great if you have a car as you are only about 20 minutes from Luxembourg city centre. Rooms modern, large and comfortable, with amazing bathroom. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast very average, this was included and offered until 930 however, on both mornings despite attending breakfast at 850 most of the food had gone from the buffet, with no hot coffee/tea left. It would appear hotel is aimed at business people who eat early. Not water was also not available in the evening and second morning maybe a maintenance problem. Considerable noise if window open from small late night cafe opposite hotel.
Great spacious bathroom with a giant mirror, the equipment is new and expensive. Cozy mattress.
We could hear water flowing in pipes the whole night, although the personnel tried to do something about it the next day, the noise quickly came back. Very, very poor breakfast, if it's not included, there are better choices for its price.
Very helpful staff My room had a view on forest Very smart room design Own parking Access to public transport Bathroom design was great as well A/C was working properly Almost everything is new
First night there wasn't WiFi There was only a garbage bin in the toilet and not in the bedroom Far to Luxembourg City (35-45 mins with walk + train)
A little hotel, the rooms are small but new and clean, everything you need for a short stay is there.
The wireless reception in my room at the end of the corridor was very bad, although I requestet a good wireless reception with my booking.
Very clean comfortable room
Dont check in on a Monday after 12.00 no staff in attendance at all. Belvaux has no attraction whatsoever.
Very good hotel and I would really recommend it! Nice, clean and comfortable room and bathroom and very friendly staff! I would also recommend a lunch or diner in the Italian restaurant downstairs. I'm a big fan of Miazia!
The bathroom sink was very small.
very nice hotel, I loved the big bathroom and cozy room
breakfast was quick and ok but maybe a little below the standard of the hotel (no choice in bread, filter coffee, very little choice over all)
Room was very good and clean.
Reception opening time was reduced. Some colleagues of mine had some problems with the wifi in their rooms. In mine it was OK though
As a regular overseas commuter I've stayed in most of the hotels in the area (between October 2013 - time of writing May 2014). Mia Zia is my favourite hotel and this is why: Clean and comfortable with great shower and modern fittings Fridge in room is handy for your own food & drinks. Nice bar area and great restaurant (if a tad expensive - like all of Luxembourg) Friendly and helpful staff Best value room in the Esch area - plenty of lesser hotels charge more -and Belvaux is a quaint town. Its close to a lovely forrest which is great for running/ cycling/ walking.
Wi-Fi reception in rooms is poor/ non existent which means for internet you need to go down to the bar (or unplug cable from room phone for laptop). No safety deposit box in room. Its in a rather remote location so unless you have access to a car its difficult to get around. If you want a busy town with plenty of life, its not it. However, Luxembourg city (the capital) is the only place in all of Luxembourg, and to be honest that's not even too busy.
the customer service was fantastic and i would definitely recommend it to other friends.
I thought the staff were very helpful. I had my shaving lotion taken by airport security and they replaced it. They ironed my shirt before a big job interview, and provided a plug adapter because I had forgotten mine. All this for free. This helped make my stay there a successful one. I thought the restaurant / reception was fairly nice, and the rooms were clean and nice.
There were no tea making facilities in the room. The alarm clock battery was dead. It is not really a full service hotel, as the reception doubles as the front of the restaurant. In a sense the hotel resembles a B&B in that you more or less get a room by itself. But the staff were great and satisfied all my requests.
