Near the center of the city, it has 2 fine dining restaurants, a fitness center and tasteful accommodations. The spacious hotel rooms at Sofitel Luxembourg are luxuriously decorated and have modern features such as flat-screen satellite TVs. There is a sitting area for guests to relax, a tea/coffee maker is provided. A full breakfast buffet is offered every morning. In the evening, Le Stubli restaurant offers a menu of traditional cuisine of Luxumbourg. There is also the Ore a Argento, the hotel's Italian restaurant. Havana Lounge is a nice place to relax and have a drink in a Cuban atmosphere. Le Glaçon Rouge bar offers a large selection of whiskeys and teas. There is also a snack bar with tapas. Excellent bed and lovely pillows ensured an excellent night's sleep. Everything was still clean and well maintained despite proximity to major building works. Staff all very friendly and helpful. While the Hotel is in the heart of the European district, this is a couple of miles (a €1.50 bus ride) from the town centre so very much a business location. Unfortunately in summer 2011 it is also a huge building site and Sat-Nav cannot cope as Luxembourg regenerates through major construction projects and roads are removed and reorganised. Interim access directions on the web page would have been nice.

It is in an isolated possition and on the evening we stayed there it was impossible to leave the area surrounding as all roads were closed off from 5.30pm till 11.00pm to accomodate a marathon. Price of food is too high 25euro for the cooked breakfast!!!

This hotel was exactly what I needed for a short business trip. Room was complete with a decent work desk, luxurious bathroom and bed was comfortable. Wifi was free throughout the hotel as well as being accessible everywhere Continually having to reconnect to the wifi system.

Very new and modern hotel, wifi for free, nice hotel staff, excellent breakfast I have chosen the hotel for its fitness room which seemed to be on pictures much more equipped and bigger (probably due to the mirror), nevertheless the fitness room consisted of 4 machines for running,stepping or cycling and one small stand with dumb-bells. No excersize mats.

Nice spacious room and large bathroom. This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel, 4 at the absolute max. 5 star hotels have all their restaurents and bars open all the time, especially from 7pm-11pm when people want to eat, and this hotel did not have all them open, making us go to another hotel for something to eat. And We looked out onto a car park and other business buildings.

The hotel is very comfortable, modern, the rooms are very nice and clean. I especially liked the design of the "living area" - from 1st floor and above: much open space in the middle and the glass roof, very spacious, full of air - creating a very joyful atmosphere (even when the weather outside is bad). The information given at the reception was not quite correct sometimes. E.G. I asked them (showing the city map) if a particular street was at a big distance from another street. They said it was 5-10 minutes' walk, but in fact that proved to be quite far - definitely not a distance to be reached within 10 minutes, even if you walk very fast;

Very, very nice hotel. Big, clean, new. I can only say we enjoyed our stay very much. The parking. It was snowing and it was very unclear how to get there, however, this will not stop me from going back there.
