Proper, neat and tidy enough and I met some really good friends there. Totally a memorable journey.
SOMEONE BROUGHT ALCOHOL IN THE NEXT DOOR. THEN WE HAVE TO TOLERANT THE NOISY MUSIC AND LOUD CHATTING.
Great staff--very friendly and knowledgeable. The pub was fantastic, with cheap(ish) beers, decent selection of food, friendly staff, and a GREAT place to meet other travelers. Slightly outside the main downtown area, but an easy and pretty walk away, making it a little oasis. Highly, highly recommend.
The windows in the dorms did not open very much, making the rooms rather warm at night--bring very light sleeping clothes.
Good Staff Breakfast Facilities
Rooms a bit small, but guess you cannot complain really!
They do not honor the price of your booking.
Location Price Breakfast included in cost
No public transport to hostel. Menu in breakfast are limited.
Great location, helpful staff, great price and even breakfast included. 10/10
One of the best hostels I've stayed. The most correct definition might be: a professionally made and maintained.
Part of the staff could be more polite.
Fantastic location visually beautiful and historical. Great facilities. Good bus run past fabulous historical buildings to central and regular.
I heard every door bang, they need to provide ear muffs at front desk. Top bunk ladder is hard to negotiate coming down if in a bunk room. No air flow windows open marginally only in rooms and It was too hot.
Quite spacious rooms n public area, clean and have some other antertainments. Breakfast is good and very important, from 6:30 to 9:00
There aren't enough plug in the room and there's no Wifi either in the room, you have to go downstairs to use the internet
Free breakfast and polite personnel, who helped me find the train station of country.
Well, it was my first ever hostel experience then I stayed more hostels in Paris and Lisbon, and clearly that hostel was the worst of them. There is no wifi in the rooms, bathrooms are unclean and boring at all.
The shower was not very practical (water all over the place).
good view and facilities, easy to go to the center
feel hot in the room, breakfast is not so good
The breakfast and the facilities
It is expensive for a hostel but still the cheapest option in the city.
Staff at the desk very friendly and helpful!
They could make it clearer how to get to it from the train station, or a bus number! And warn that it's at the bottom of a hill!
-lights beside every bed -enough plugs -sink in the room -very big rooms
-shower rooms got too hot and steamy. If you're not the first one to shower you'll have to be afraid to faint -breakfast only until 9- quite early for young travellers
Good location. New building and facilities. Very close to New Muenster Abbey (concert location).
Underestimated the lack of privacy and impossibility to sleep due to large dorm rooms (and thus frequent nightly interruptions). No understanding from staff an no option to change/upgrade or get a refund.
very big place, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, nice terrace- facilities and view.
Clean hostel, friendly athmosphere, good cantine, excellent location
clean bed and other facilities, free wifi, nice food, excellent location, and helpful staff -- i enjoyed my time staying there.
Price. Clean (rooms and facilities). Lockers in Room and Foyer.
Finding the place. Tourist Info (at train station) tells you where to go (bus and stop) though they don't tell you it is down a hill, there is a sign though, but its position makes it ambiguous. Trecherous to walk down/up in the rain with bags. Breakfast was awful. Worst juice I've EVER had. Hot chocolate was very weak. Rolls were so hard I almost chipped a tooth. Not much of vegetarian or Halaal option really. Staff were, for me, not good. Even though I paid a deposit, was forced to pay the full fee up front. I wasn't told prior to my arrival that a deposit was also required for the room key. The deposit (for key) was graciously taken from my original deposit. The cafeteria says it is open till 11 pm (which I relied on). When I got there, I was told that it closes at 10pm and people may sit there till 11pm? Checking out, I was assured any money problems would be settled though this took a while.
Comfy bed. Good room. Decent breakfast.
The shower was horrible. You had to press the button every 10 seconds and then the water went from icy cold to scolding.
The restaurant! Food great and vege options. Large property and short walk to shops
Breakfast was very minimal. Bread cheese ham and jams and basic cereal. Showers were not so nice.On /off heat and no shower head so sprayed everywhere (no shower curtain) and had to keep pushing button to keep water flow. Save water I guess :)
This is a huge place that feels kind of like a large college dorm, which could be a plus or a minus! They have excellent facilities, and it was very clean, the location is beautiful...once you get there! The on site restaurant is a good value.
The shuttle from the train station doesn't run on weekends, and it's a long walk over cobblestones to get there...Most of the people staying here seemed to be with large groups rather than independent travellers, so it was harder to meet people than at smaller hostels.
There is a fly in honey during breakfast buffet...and flies are everywhere in the restaurant.
