Albert Hotel  

Albert Hotel, Riga, Latvia. A large modern up-market establishment. Used by tour groups. Room good, breakfast good, located in an area with multiple outdoor dining establishments. Hotel WiFi refused to work on my computer and a hotel ‘expert’ was called to rectify the problem. He amended my account settings to align with theirs and instant Email was available. (Note that since leaving the Email has refused to transmit messages despite removal of the Riga settings and reverting to the previous standard) No tea/Coffee facilities in the room but available at a charge of 5Lats/day. The room hot water makes drinkable coffee anyway. Excellent view from the 10th Floor ‘Sky Lounge’ Albert Hotel is recommended to my friends and I would happily stay there again . Everything was just excellent - a perfectly run place in an excellent location. Underground parking is very convenient. Breakfast is very good.

We had groups of west European youngsters (good heirs of their colonialist ancestors) partying in the corridor every night after the bar was closed (a new group each night, judging by the languages). The staff don't seem to care - for an obvious reason that emptied mini-bars bring a lot of profit. The hotel should seriously consider keeping the ground floor bar open 24/7 and enforcing silence in the sleeping areas.

Firstly, it was my second time there. I love the hotel, cause itś clean, comfortable, not too big and the atmosphere is very friendly. I love your breakfast, everything is fresh ja nicely done. Rooms are spaceous and carpets are clean! I´ve seen so many nice hotels, but carpets are outrageous (Just like nearby Radisson). So all halls and rooms look perfectly cleaned. Parking house is also pretty spaceous. I will definitely come again without a second thought. Thank you Elle

Waitress was very friendly and food was tasty, nice looking and prices was reasonable.

Reception people are not so friendly, didn't said even "hello". Didn't inform, that parking ticket have to been scanned before to drive out from parking hall. Barman become friendly when got good tips. Sad... Next time we go somewhere else.

One of the best price/quality ratios in Riga. In the centre, clean and comfortable rooms, decent breakfast and good price.

1. Very good breakfast which is included in the price. 2. Ideal location in the city centre; Airport Express minibus passes every half hour. Only 5 Euro to Riga airport. 3. rather Clean!!!

The receptionist couldn't find our reservation, which was made through booking.com. But there were some available rooms, so the receptionist did a new reservation without any problems.

Silent, breakfast

breakfast on saterday - too many peaple, not enough place.

отель действительно удобно расположен. не далеко от старого города. на одной улице с лидо и магазином галерея. пешком 9 мин.

номер был на 9 этаже, чистый уютный, единственно что немного не удобно отсутсвие шторки в душе. на 11 этаже есть старбар с видом на ригу. не плохие коктейли.

до старого города 15 минут неспешной прогулки, равно как и от центрального вокзала, транспорт не потребуется) номер чистый, ванная тоже. очень удобен маленький продуктовый магазинчик напротив)) завтрак на 5!

За углом квартал Арт Нуво, Рига маленькая и до исторического центра легко дойти от отеля пешком. На соседней улице есть бесплатная парковка (с местами напряг). В отеле есть собственная парковка, но дорогая. Завтраки не плохие, все необходимое есть. Соотношение цена/качество.

В ванне не продуман душ, нет шторки или дверцы в душевую кабинку, и все льется на пол.
