Lobby and restaurant was large, staff was frendly, car parking and internet were free. Breakfest was fair and included in room price. There was some kind a hum from time to time during the night, like compressor was working... |

I liked that I was not disturbed by the hotel staff at all and did nit hear the neighbors either. The room price was reasonable, location good, the elevator worked perfectly, more than enough towels. The hotel staff at the reception was indifferent and cold, no smiling, just working because they had to work, chatting with each other, not efficient, but not impolite either. I asked for a quiet room and got a room facing the building site... Fortunately it was still quiet at night time, more quiet than the rooms facing the street. The shower´s mixer did not work properly. |

Good location, nice view from the top floor bar, friendly staff (this really is something exceptional in Riga), cleanliness, free private parking close to the hotel. There is nowhere to park in front of the hotel even for a very short time - we got fined during the 5 minutes that we spent going into the hotel and getting driving directions to a nearby private parking lot. |

Albert Hotel is a modern hotel not far away from the historic centre of Riga. You can walk from the hotel to the centre. In general, it is a nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet.The service is fine, though staff could be kinder. In conclusion, if you want to spend a weekend visiting Riga this hotel could be a good option. The staff at reception were not welcoming and the hotel's restaurant closes early, so if you arrive around 11pm you will need to walk a bit until you find a place where to eat. |
