Nice restaurant in the upper floors
The water was too cold, it was hard to take a shower or bath...
Breakfast Buffet, the food at the hotel restaurant in general
showers without curtain/door may save time for cleaning staff but do not appear to be a great idea.
Elemis bathroom products
2 single duvets on double bed on superior bedroom
sense of humor of creators of this hotel, good quality of accommodation, substantial breakfast
Nice location, breakfast was first class, good WiFi
Tooth brush not for free in 4* hotel... not really nice surprise.
attitude of reception staff - telling to client that we need to reserve full amount your accommodation from your credit card because you might run away without paying, is quite impolite ... (question was asked by me - why you name it reservation when you actually charge already full stay?) this first impression will affect all rest of the stay, no matter what happens next. If it's your house rule, it's your choice to select your clients, but this is not for me
Good location, friendly staff, available parking.
The staff were excellent and the breakfast first class
Some good restaurants nearby easy to get to main attractions. Not as overcrowded as the big chain hotels.
Could do with a little sprucing up otherwise quite comfortable.
The location was super, personal was polite and kind. Privacy was respected.
That I had to log into the WiFi everytime again when I came back to the hotel.
Veri good location
Great hotel in good location. Proffesional stuff in reception. Good breakfast.
Location to the old town. Sky lounge has excellent views. Shuttle service to the airport available for €5.
Rooms could do with an update. Corridor on 7th floor smelt of stale smoke.
We stayed in executive room, so room was very spacious. I liked that room was bright and clean. The air-conditioning was the strong point for us when we were looking for hotel in Riga. The cosmetics that the hotel offers is good but more suitable for men.
Our coffee machine was broken, but I believe it happens sometimes.
Very friendly and initiative staff. This was for the first time that I encountered a hotel in Riga, where someone from reception staff couldn't speak Russian language. Don't even know, how to evaluate it.
I had to stay at this hotel for one night only. This was for the first time that I encountered a hotel in Riga, where someone from reception staff couldn't speak Russian language. Don't even know, how to evaluate it.
Old and small rooms
- Staff is professional - Bar with a nice view on top - Clean - Confortable
- 10-15 min walk to old town - rooms quite small - Sweet part of breakfast is quite small
Situation, room size
Breakfast too crowded, not enough waters to clean table and to serve. All tables remaniés dit éventuellement at 10 am. Very tough to find a seat. Fruit juice distribution was also out of ordre. Air conditioner unable to make cooler my room and too nous y.
Nothing, standard is well below expected Europe standard.
I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, staff are extremely rude ,room is extremely small and does not cater for children. On arrival in the hotel, we were told there is no lift from the hotel underground car, my wife and I were completely flabbergasted, we had 4 suitcases, a baby and a baby pushchair, when I asked for a staff that could help, I was told, they didn't have a staff to to that duty, hence I had to drag the baby pushchair and suitcases up the stairs . We booked a double room with a baby cot, we were allocated a twin room with a baby cot, and when I went back to the receptionist to ask for a double room as I've booked, the receptionist called me "not a normal human being", we were eventually given a double room after I produced my hotel booking confirmation , on getting to the double room, it was so small and a senior member of the reception staff had to remove numerous different piece of furniture from the room to create a space for baby court. The rude receptionist in Albert hotel was by the name of Elina Stapkeivica actually left me at the desk, sign off the computer and just walked off, also she suggested I put the baby court in the corridor, I was so shocked by the treatment I received in this hotel, I almost cried. On the same trip in Latvia, we had stayed in Radisson blue hotel and Promenade in Liepaja and the rooms have been able to accommodate us conveniently with spaces to spare and the services have been excellent. I was really appalled by the services we size of the room that is called standard in this hotel and this left a bad taste in the mouth, we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was 3 nights from hell. We definitely will not be using this hotel again
Great space in executive rooms. Comfortable to get around with a baby. Helpful stuff.
Very nice hotel for pleasure or business. Close enough to city center. This time I used a standard room on lower floor. The room was spacious and comfortable
The fair pricing vould be roundabout 70-80 euros per day, which I paid uring my previous stays. The hotel is good, breakfest - ok, rooms are soundproof, WiFi in your room, you have a bar with terass which is opened untill two or three in the night on the top floor of the hotel. I beleive you also get an option to park your veihcle in the closed underground parking.
I was charged 260 euros per two nights, which is seriously overpriced, but the location was convinient for my particular needs so I went for the price.
Did not like being forced to pay for the room at booking; will not use the service again.
