In fact they accept cash only ("lats" or "euro") but in their booking.com profile it is said that they accept visa card. I was have to pay comission fee for cash withdrawal in bank. I could change currency in my home country without any fee if I knew. So when you don't accept cards why don't you declare that in your profile?

Nice family hotel in 20-25 minutes from city center by walking. Breakfasts & parking are free. And very cheap price. Highly reccomend.

the staff was perfectly friendly - they even checked me in at 11 instead of 14)))the hotel is a 2-storied building and situated in quiet place. it met all my expectations - "home-sweet home" in Latvian style - warm atmosphere in plain-living and along with homely people))))))

good audibility, though it wasn't a real broblem. but definitely not a place for a honeymoon ;)

Comparing with the prize the Augustine Hotel provides absolutely fine service in all sense of the meanings. The room is spacious, clean and functionable. The breakfast (included) is fine and you´ ve possibility for coffee and tee for almost no prize around the clock. The owners are present every day and are willing to accomplish any problems regarding the accommodation. The Hotel is placed about 30 minutes walk to the center of Riga; opposite there are plenty of fine bus-connections just some minutes walk from the hotelentrance. Hotel Augustine supposes to be an execellent choice for a weekendtour or business-trip to Riga.

The WLAN-based internet-connection is a bit slow in rooms far distance from the reception, however durable.

Hotell staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly owners, who provided loads of tips for sightseeing. Guests can store their own food in kitchen fridge, and make use of microwave. Safe secured parking too!

Everything was ok, quiet place, 15 mins by tram to Old Town, free parking (its very expensive to park in Riga)

The whole stay we felt as if we were at home- the hotel is very cozy, nice and clean. The backyard is green and quite with lots of flowers and trees. The staff and the owners are very friendly :) Both my parents and I loved it! Perfect!

Clean, comfortable, convenient. There was a small kitchen that was available to prepare your own meals. Far from the city center to move by foot but close to the tramway stop ... and with parking, so very convenient for us that were travelling by car.

Nice, clean family run place. Good breakfast. Good location, public transport (trollies and trams) near. Very friendly staff.

Rated the cleanliness fair only because there were toenail clippings on the floor. Also we had to go and ask for toilet paper twice. But no worries. Maybe the beds could have been a tad softer.

Really nice and hospitable staff. Big, clean and cosy rooms. Good breakfast. We travelled by car, so free parking in closed area was very useful.
