Bed was great as well as my room, stuff very polite and careful, breakfast was awesome !

Being at Avitar, I liked that staff was very friendly. When we had some difficulties with orientation in the city, they kindly explained us everything clearly. The breakfast. Except this, the bus stop is right near the hotel.

First weird thing that we didn't like was that the water was "electrical". We couldn't wash our faces, hands, or brush our teeth. We did this in the shower. Another thing was that the walls were not soundproof at all. We could hear our neighbors competing with us in s*x.

Hotel is just opposite to bus stop while coming from airport or central bus statio, the ladies at front desk are very helpfull, rooms have perfect clean enviornment and breakfast is wonderfull having a good number of veg and non veg options. Internet works great and a netto store is just around the corner.

The hotel has a lift but its located in such a manner that any and every floor will require you to lift the bags till floor level.

Nice room design. Excellent location relative to Arena Riga. 10 minutes on feet and you are there. Breakfast was good.

It's too cold int the bathroom. Nothing helps. Boiler for hot water. I ran out of it while taking shower. Oh, that was not pleasant at all. But I guess I should have been faster instead of spending time with my rubber ducks.

I was searching for a cheap accommodation for one night since I just needed a place to crash, most time was to be spent out, anyway. I expected the very basic service for a two-star-hotel but I got much more: clean room with facilities, nice and friendly personnel, free internet (pc at reception desk), abundant breakfast, good location (nice walk to the center of 30 minutes), good public transportation, shops and restaurants and sauna nearby - all for the price of less than 30 eur.

A bit far from center. about 40-50 minute by foot, but you can use the public transport

Friendly staff who speak Latvian, Russian and English fluently. Outstanding breakfast! Great variety of meals (inc. salads, porridge, pancakes, cheese, croissants, etc.). We had a great sleep over: no noise coming from the street during the night. It was truly a great value for money (got a very lucrative offering from Booking.com and Avitar online).

Location of the hotel is a bit of a disadvantage: you'll need to walk around 30-40 minutes from the hotel to the city center (Old Riga). By a bus you'll get to the city center in about 10-12 minutes. The interior of the room was quite shabby, and the furniture ought to be replaced with new pieces.

Rooms are poorly furnished, personnel is not friendly, too far from the center.

Good location, 15 minute walk from the centre of Riga, and a very interesting neighbourhood, with quite a few things to do nearby and some amazing buildings.

It has a free private parking and a nice breakfast. The hotel is well connected to the old city and to the center as there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel.

The room was a little narrow, the shower drain was clogged.
