The place where hotel is situated seems to be industrilal, everything looks black and grey. The rooms are clean but furniure and everything in them are very long, I suppose from the Former Soviet times. The bedspread has blots. The conclusion^ the rate of the hotel is less than claimed 2 stars

The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Free Wi-Fi at a good speed in the room. Breakfast is OKish.

The hotel is in 20 minutes' walk from the centre (Old Riga), which - for Riga city plan - is not the closest to the lively streets option. But it is not too far and you can take a nice walk. The worst part was that the "spa bath" stands next to the window in the bathroom, facing the street and the bus station, but the window has no curtain at all. The receptionist said that it is "romantic". So if you like to take shower in front of the bus stop full of people, this is your chance to be "romantic". There is no other option for taking shower - no shower cabin. The "spa bath" is a joke, because the water pressure was too low and the water was rusty. Room smelled of smoke strongly, and we were not informed that it is smoking room. (Smoking is allowed only in the balcony, but previous guests obviously smoked everywhere around)

I stays in room 500 and was very bad. To small , without windows, bathroom very small, tv´didnt work well , etc. Very bad room.

Price was very good. Rooms are ok.

Parking space very small. Noisy, the window do not have isolation.

Low price, including half board (we actually didńt use). Fridge and wi-fi in the room.

Well, in the last day we went to dinner on the restaurant at 7:00pm and were asked to return only at 9:00pm because they were full... With a lot of tables free. Lack of smiles of most of staff (but be prepared to find that happens in a lot of places in Riga so it might be a cultural issue) Small bathroom and lack of pressure in the water. Also, only one towel per guest...

Free parking on the street; Ok quality of interior; breakfast was OK. For the price I have paid (had 50% off) - good choice for short overnight stay. Staff was friendly and nice for sure!

This is very basic hotel, so don't expect a lot. Didn't like beds and sheets. Location is definintely not very central, and area is not spectacular at all. TV set was the smallest I have seen in my life.

Staff is friendly. Food is ok, breakfast even more what we could expect at this price. Rooms are exactly what you pay for - not more not less. Hotel itself is quite clean and accurate.

Only one thing i can address as negative issue: hotel is quite far from the city center- 7 stops by bus. In the description it is stated " very heart of Riga" which is far from being true. Otherwise it's a budget hotel, simple but decent.

Rooms facing the street are noisy. on the second night we moved to a different room that was great!

Every night near the hotel was very loudly, some strange peoples drunk and switch on loudly music. Nobody from the hotel personnel or security didn't try to stop it. Besides that all was ok.

I liked the friendly wait staff and the reception staff. They usually spoke good English and were polite. Casual conversation was indulged in, asking directions to various places, bus locations, etc. The morning breakfast was provided gratis. The food was typical Eastern Baltic fare, but thoughtfully prepared, fresh , and satisfying. The buffet was artfully designed, and the decor of the restaurant was South Seas. Very nice. I appreciated the friendly smiles of the wait staff. The manager was kind and offered help if I needed it. Very good stay.

Very few negative things to say. But, one area which needs improvement, is the noise factor from the outdoor terrace on the roof. The guests were loud and boisterous into the early morning hours when others below were trying to sleep. The terrace outdoors should be closed and locked after midnight, to allow guests below to sleep. The employees were always throwing empty bottles into the trash cans on ground level outdoors. This was very annoying because of the clanking sound . This should be stopped. Fans should be provided to guests because rooms are not air conditioned.

No air in the room, no conditioner or not possible to regular temperature in room. We had to open windows to get some air but there was city noise. Terrible pillows. I could not sleep because of flat pillow.

Excellent location if you are driving - easy to find and you don't get caught up in the city centre melee. Quite a long walk to the city centre - approx 30 - 40 mins each way but there are buses or a taxi costs 5 lats. It's a worthwhile trade off in my book. The walk itself is interesting. Nice park close by if you want green space. Very helpful staff, English spoken, free wi-fi, superb vista from the roof top dining room and terrace. Meals any time between 11.00 and 22.00 What's not to like !

Well done hotel to money

Great value for the money spent. Staff is really friendly, welcoming and friendly.

Quite far from the historical city center however taxi will get your there for less then 5-7 mins drive that will cost not more than 5-7 Euros. Also it is 30 mins walk down the main city street.

Saimme alennusta koirahinnoista.

Olin varannut 2 yöksi huoneen. Ilmoittautuessa oli vain 1 yö. Huoneeni ovikortti ei toiminut toisena aamuna ollenkaan ( johtuen em asiasta ?) Ravintola ei pääsiäsenä ollut auki ollenkaan. OLisimme syöneet illalla ja vähän juoneetkin. AAmiaiselle piti olla "pikkulappuset" todisteena, että asumme hotellissa. Se oli ok. Mutta emme saaneet toisen aamun lappusia, kuin pyytämällä.
