Good location according to price (end of city center)

There is two managers and not all time they are communicate with each other. In my case, I called to inform that I am going to have late check- in, but noone was waiting for me, because one forget to say about this to "night" manager. And , of course, 6th floor...

Awesome lady, helped us with everything we needed.

Everything was fine.

We rented an apartment for two nights, it was great, spacious, with good and clean furniture. Also with big tv and a vast selection of movies on dvd, all included. (!)

The palace was a little old and there was no elevator nor shutters at the windowa, but that's just normal in Riga. No complains at all!

Good value. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice room. Warm. Good shower and breakfast.

The stuff was very friendly, the location is also excellent, very cosy place.

Hotel situated close to city center, friendly reception, good for budget travellers

If you have a lot of luggage, be ready to stairs! there is no elevator!

I liked the friendly stuff. They booked for me tours, ordered the taxi and recommended good and cheep restaurants. It was a small hostel similar to a flat. There was a nice atmosphere in the hostel. The other guests respected sleeping times and weren´t loud. The hostel is in a old builing with high rooms and stucco at the walls. The bathroom was clean.

It wasn´t so easy to find the Hostel, becaurse there is only a small sign outside.

Good hostel, nice staff, great price

Fantastic friendly atmosphere! Staying at the Barons feels like being at home. There is always someone in the kitchen or in the TV/computer room. Great staff, and excellent english spoken.

We were a party of five and stayed in the two-bedroom apartment 500 meters from the hostel. The apartment was recently renovated, clean, very spacious and extremely well equipped with all necessary household appliances - and more. The walk to the old town takes 15-20 minutes, but there is a tram/streetcar stop 150 meters away. Though it was really warm, the apartment stayed relatively cool, even without air conditioning Special thanks go to the caretaker Freddie, who was extremely helpful before and during the stay. To sum it up: for the price of a cheap hotel room you get a large apartment with enough room for six or even seven people in a decent location. Not bad at all!

The apartment is at the top floor of an old building. The stairway is in a pretty awful condition, as often is the case in Eastern Europe, but don't let it scare you. There is no elevator, so the apartment is not for older people - there really are a lot of stairs to climb. But the top floor is of course also the safest one.

So many stairs to get to the hostel- but it's still a good bet and my boyfriend has insisted on staying again :) also, to be fair, the lovely guy on the front desk carried my bag up the stairs tonight so can't complain

In this appartment you can find all necessary things for a comfortable stay, so you won't have to spend money on things that you probably won't bring back home. Everything's provided from tea cups, toaster & roaster, hangers to DVDs and a broom.

Hostel staff was very friendly and ready to help. All necessary facilities available and in good condition. Clean and safe rooms (card lock on every room's door). Good location on a quiet street near Old town and main railway station.

everything was just great, the staff, the rooms, the kitchen,... we enjoyed a lot!

Great beds, never slept so well on a hostel.

Wall between public shower and toilet could be more soundproof. No elevator.

Дружелюбная хозяйка (австралийка). Чисто, аккуратно. Самый главный плюс - очень близко к центу! Минут 7-10 пешком. Через дорогу отличная пекарня с очень вкусными булочками). Жили в номере для троих

Говорит только по английски, кто совсем не разговаривает, тому сложно будет.

Very nice place for really good money, so cheap and comfortable. Didnt know we have such a grate place in centr of Riga!!! Will go there again and suggesting my friends!

Очень хорошие апартаменты. Удобное расположение, до старого города достаточно близко. Ходили пешком, минут 10. Большая квартира с просторной кухней- столовой и 2 спальнями. Все необходимое для проживания имеется. Очень приветливые и гостеприимные хозяева апартаментов. Все подсказали и рассказали, что посмотреть, куда сходить, где магазины находятся и т.д., предоставляют различные карты и путеводители, что очень приятно, для тех кто впервые знакомится с Ригой.

Нет лифта. С чемоданом тяжеловато подниматься, но с другой стороны, один раз наверх и один раз вниз этот чемодан несешь. Мы справились)))
