Good location, close to a rent a bike shop. It was impossible to pay by credit card. The machine was out of order. |

Rooms had attractive decor and were spotless. The hotel could not be better situated for sight seeing in the old town. Plenty of restaurants/cafes and bars in the vicinity. Liked the hotel and liked Riga. Heating was a little on the warm side and opening the window at night wasn't always an option due to revellers outside (but noise not a problem when window was closed) |

It was a very nicely laid out hotel, in an excellent location. The twin rooms are excellent. The noise in the small (and not so small) hours, from revellers and functions outside. Downside of a city centre hotel. |

Central location of hotel in old city of Riga, we could keep the hotel room longer (1 1/2 hours after check out time) as our flight back was in the evening. (However, the receptionist who promised this at night had obviously not told his colleague, as the telephone in our room rang on the day we left half an hour after check out time and a quite unfriendly voice asked when we would leave as we would have had to check out already) I must say that I was a bit disappointed by the hotel after having read very good reviews about it. The interior of the hotel room (and hotel in general) was very old fashioned in my opinion (seventies style), which I did not like. Last time when I was in Riga I stayed in Reval Hotel Latvija, which was much more convenient in my opinion and room prices were about the same. At night the noise from the street was very loud in Hotel Centra. Right behind our window was a restaurant and drunken people there were shouting until late at night.. I was not so disturbed by that, but my boyfriend could hardly fall asleep because of the noise. |

The hotel is ideally located in the old town of Riga. Very friendly and helpfull staff at bargain prices. Although our room was amongst the smallest in the hotel, it was huge. The room wouldn't suffer from having a sofa, and maybe some sound proofing of the window towards the street. |

Location, pricing, facilities and service were good. Very good value for money. As in most old town hotels in Riga you will have a lot noise from the street at night. make sure you got a room facing the back side. |

They kindly gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was unexpected, and very generous of them. The suite was great and we had a very relaxing time. The hotel was stylish, the staff were extremely helpful, the location was very good and breakfast was great! |

clean and nice hotel, delicious breakfast, good bed, beautiful bedroom, good location, open 24 hours. The papers were ready when we arrived at the hotel which made it easier and faster to sign in. Safety box. Luggage storage. a very noisy night- somebody screaming at the street. Otherwise the hotel was silent and peaceful. A wall mirror and more hangers in a closet would be nice to have. Two keys for the room. A very small lift. |

Super breakfasts, changed each day: excellent breads/pastry, wonderful cooked food, fresh fruit, good coffee, nice variety of cold things. Desk staff especially helpful, knowledgable, cheerful. Unbeatable Riga location (old town, restaurants, park, river/canal, open market, modern shopping center/grocery store, art nouveau streets, train/tram stations). Suite was spacious, with top floor views. |

The architect whom we owe respect for the quality of design should once take a shower himself to experience if it works properly .In the evenining and at night there is too much rumour from the street. |

very good location in Old Riga, also fairly close to the bus and train stations. slightly cramped bathroom (although smartly furnished). Bedrooms on the 'second' floor (ie first floor for the British) suffered some late night noise from the bar opposite and other revellers. |
