About this particular appartment I didnt like the entrance into the building - smell of cats was very strong,as well as smell of an old building.
The kitchen wear should be changed. As there are people staying for longer period of time, they should be able to use clean kitchen wear and non stick with fingers to the pots.
As I already mentioned - the shower curtain,real killer.☺
The living/sitting room space...even though all furniture was sofa beds there...they were deadly uncomfortable to just sit and watch TV.
Tv had a little persistant small square on the screen that would not go away no matter what you do.
Now the main entrance to the building from the Pils iela was always clesed, with code key...however,the back yard door, was always open! The car park did not had closed gate, so technically any stranger could get inside the building, you just have to figure out from where!
And the seagulls...well be prepared that the town is buzzing with them! In one week time our car looked like it have been in the paintball field!:)But this last point you can do nothing about it! Just watch out and enjoy the magical Ventspils, the more I go back there, the more I fall in love with this corner of Latvia that is developing so fast that every time you find something new.
We liked the lication of appartment.Handy access to the one of the best restaurants in Ventspils - Skroderkrogs.
If you stay around the Old City Center you do not need a car at all, everything is hand streach away. The beds were good and clean, shower good as well (might review the curtain in the shower,it sticks to you when you shower - very annoying.) Neighbours very qiet. Car park right behind the building.
The owners were very kind and welcoming. However,in one week time they could have called, just to ask if everything is going well.
The furniture little bit dated(80's), but all very clean(except kitchen wear). Owners had provided the appartment with every kind of cleaning stuff and basic suvival for cooking,as well as first welcome champagne and juice for kids.
