Nice, value-for-money hotel, trying to jump into the 4* category. The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly.

The rooms smell of the new floor carpeting but you get used to it. The pillows are too small, the fridge working in the room is audible and I had to switch it off. There is no free parking.

We welcomed the New Year at this hotel and were very satisfied the stuff and services. Friendly girls at the reception did their work quickly and careful. We ordered Comfort Room and it was spacious enough - even more than we'd expected. But the best thing was a big bath and the warm floor in a bathroom! It was pleasure to take a bath drinking champagne the 1st day of the New Year. We also took the holiday dinner in the hotel restaurant on the last flour. It was a buffet with a good choice of starters and main courses. Champagne and juices were free of charge and unlimited. Dessert included a big cake with firework candles that was wonderful. The restaurant has a good panoramic view on the center of Riga and city firework. Live music was accompanied us during the whole evening. So we were very pleased to stay this hotel and next time we'll choose it again.

What was a little bit uncomfortable is weak pressure of water in a shower and lack of hot water from time to time. But it was not crucially. The hotel is located not so far from the city center, but it can be 20-25 minutes walk.

Reception was always very friendly, facilities as promised. It was a nice extra that WiFi was free and not 3 LVL/day as the booking confirmation said.

Stayed for one night. Ample public parking space in front of the hotel, free from Sat night until Mon morning. A nice simple clean place. Breakfast was better than what I expected from reviews.

Cable tv was mainly Russian, absolutely no English or international channels were available. Biggest complaint: we had a cheaper pre-paid room. In the reservation it read clearly that the price would be charged to credit card at booking. However, we had to pay on check-out (without any knowledge whether the stay had already been charged or not). The staff were kind enough to acknowledge that this is weird. It currently seems that everything is ok and the hotel has charged us only once. However, this should not happen in the civilized world, and even less in Latvia where tourists are warned of credit card frauds.

Great location. 20 min. from Old Town. Huge rooms - if you travel with children, it's important.

Nice people, good brekfast. Ideal place, if going go Riga arena. Near center, you can go on foot.

No free parking near hotel.
