Location, parking, mainhouse - very beautiful castle, garden, fairytale park for children, restorant, food - even breakfast is with excellent service, stuff...

There was many people and big weddings - a little bit noisy - but we were in second house and there was ok to sleep.

The grounds of the domain are nice. Breakfast is of high quality, especially on Sundays. Main building is sumptuous.

The rooms in the restored barn are cramped and not comfortable. Air conditioning installed but not functioning. Restaurant food quality is not as high-end as the prices would let think...

Breakfast was amazing and the tables inside and outside gave a good opportunity to enjoy a peaceful start of the day. Service, room and the manor itself was fantastic. Our room had part of the ceiling under the steeper side of the roof and quite a few wooden constructions that makes it easy to hit one's head against them but it's part of the design so can't be fixed.

Nice and tidy environment around this hotel.

I was astonished how bad service was provided by receptionist (male, with massive airings-quite inappropriate appearance for 4 stars hotel). I booked my stay (double room) over booking.com, even confirmed it by credit card number. When I came to check in my self-this receptionist male was absolutely struggling with his system to check me in, after 30 min he gave me keys but told me that my apartment is located somewhere outside the main building (didn't show me where to go, even though, outside was very dark). There were 2 buildings outside, unfortunately, nothing was written where rooms were situated. After a while I found my apartment, but when I unlocked the door, I saw that nobody cleaned and tied the room up after previous stay, I had to go back for clean room.I got another key, but when I got there - it was twin room not double room what I ordered. Because it was 1 hour of my wasted time I didn't go back to that guy. Generally speaking, it is hard to believe that in 4 stars hotel such a things can happen but even if that happened to me, nobody was kind enough to apologize. Moreover, there was very very hot in the room - no air con, very noisy - You can hear everything next door when someone was using a toilet or talking. Outside dogs were barking all night long. Unfortunately, this hotel is located in the middle of nowhere - 25 km from closes town.

I appreciated that the hotel is well reconstructed, but old equipment was preserved. So I felt the "history" there. The staff was really excellent.

The staff was very kind and let us have our own champagne (for a little cost) and do a photo shoot with three dogs in the beautiful Ladies' saloon. We were offered wine glasses and they brought us a candle. We also had a very nice welcome-letter in our room. The breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful place even in the end of September. Excellent, fresh breakfast in a beautiful room. The personnel was very polite and spoke very good English.

We were staying in a Stable, which was nicely renovated. It was difficult to stand up safely from the bed, because log bars were too down for elderly persons.

A hotel in a beautiful building, the rooms are all furnished differently with fine antiques. There are different elegant halls with beautiful fireplaces and tile stoves which are probably a fantastic place to read in autumn or winter. The park is large and really beautiful, you can even row a boat in the pond. We had breakfast on the summer terrace of the barn and on the palace's veranda, both are very charming locations. The choice at breakfast was excellent, but one day all hot drinks had to be ordered from the waitress who was doing the service alone, so we had almost finished our breakfast until we were served our coffee. The restaurant on the summer terrace (the restaurant in the basement of hotel was closed) is good (good value for money, too), but the dishes are not extraordinary. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, also with organising trips and activities.

During summer I would definitely recommend to book a stay on weekdays if you prefer a quiet atmosphere, because there are a lot of wedding parties in the castle on the weekends and the hotel rooms are not exactly soundproof. An alternative would probably be to book a room in the converted barn. Unfortunately the sauna/swimming pool area was closed for renovation. We would have loved to have a room with a bath tub instead of a shower (most of the rooms seem to have a tub), so make sure you request a room with tub if you want one.

Really lovely place, beautiful rooms inside the castle, very good breakfast. The rooms inside the restaurant building are not the largest one, the smallest shower Ive seen in the Baltic states.

They were not able to prepare steak the rare way in chateau restaurant, although they promised it before.
