Fantastic staff. The wine bar is a great meeting point and a place to spend sometime by having some snacks and tasting wines from allover the world.Lot of parking area on the street (free in the evenings and sundays).

Everything was great.

The staff is rather friendly, all of them speak Russian. Wi-fi was ok all the days.

When checking-in the receptionist included the parking for all days of stay into the bill, though I asked via booking.com parking only for one day. Not all the staff members could solve simple problems, like giving taxi telephone at once, or informing what is the tel code for Latvia and what is the timetable for some most famous sightseeings. Moreover we had a problem with cleaning the room: the maid could not clean two black stains on the carpet and the bed and the receptionist suggested us paying 200 Lts as a fine, so my friend and I bought a bottle of Vanish and cleaned everything ourselves. While cleaning the stains we noticed a lot of cut nails under the bed, not ours!!! It was awful. The breakfast was the same all the days, by the 5th day we were bored by that. The hotel is not less than 15 mins on foot from the Old town.

I was staying at the business room,it was comfortable and bathroom was spacious and soft drinks from minibar included. I liked the location which was 10-15 minutes walking distance from the old town. I ate really good lunch at the hotel restaurant and also the tomato mozzarella salad at the wine bar was excellent. Also wifi was working well all over hotel.

the TV channel selection could have been little better,also the shower at my 6th floor room had very little water pressure so I was happy I did not have to wash my hair as it would have taken a long time. Hotel website says that they are renting bikes but that wasn`t a case after all - they would have been willing to help me with the matter but it was quite windy so I did not go through it after all.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast choice is good, restaurant's A La Carte Menu is slightly expensive, but worth every penny. Even though the Classic room assigned to us looked comfy enough, we decided to take the upgrade to Business Class and it was well worth it - a spacious room, free mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Great wine selection in the hotel's wine bar. To reach the Old Town where all the main attractions are is easy and takes just about 7 minutes by foot.

The hotel is not in the Old Town, even though it's very close to it.

Calm hotel, business rooms properly equipped, comfortable, beds semi hard but comfy to sleep. Coffee maker in room is big plus.

Wifi connection is just scam. As for business hotel it shall be excellent. Ironing boards with iron shall be part of business class rooms. Sauna shall be free of charge for all.

When we arrived, the receptionmanager offered to upgrade our room to a "business-room". When I did that, we had to pay 20€ extra for each day. After that we got the Business room. Arrived on the floor, the room was exactly the same as on the picture which I reserved as the "standard room". So the room wasn't any cm bigger than promised and not matching as on the pictures of the Business room. After complaints, the told me that other rooms as on the pictures, but I was unlucky and got the smallest Business room. The was my first impression of Latvian people who want to fool the foreigners!

Location and the fact that you can park the car for a fixed rate in a gated car park round the corner, within the Hotel's territory.

Very nice presentation and value for money. Cheap rates but very clean on comfortable rooms. The bed was super comfy and the cleanliness was top notch. Staff were nice. The wine bar next door is also a plus for wine lovers. Breakfast is really cool, lots of selection and it goes till 11am! Great for young people who don't like getting up at 6am like old folks.

Can't complain really. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and couldn't find a fault with this hotel. Absolutely worth your money.

It wasn't anything prepared before my visit. They got money from credit card when I checked in and couldn't print invoice because the machine didn't work. When I came to my room the bar was empty. It was 12 pm , I was thirsty after travelling and It wasn't any bottle of water in my room.

This hotel is within walking distance of the Freedom Monument and the major shopping district. You are also within a 10 minute walk of old Riga with its many beautiful churches and cathedrals. The staff here is truly exceptional. I had a early morning flight and left the hotel at 4AM to catch a flight back to the United States at 6AM on a Sunday morning. I had arragned for a wake up call at 3AM and they called and asked if I would like a "take away breakfast" which is their free breakfast to go. I said sure. They actally gave me a hot breakfast to eat on the cab ride to the airport.. TRULY EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!!!! THE BREAFAST HERE WAS INCREDIBLE, WITH MANY GREAT EUROPEAN DISHES!!!!!! sTAY HERE AND YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED!!!.

The card to turn on the electricity in the room is a great idea, but I spent about 45 minutes trying to figure out why the tv and lights didn't work. I would say a orientation to this type of situation would be helpful to your United States guests as I had never seen this before. The staff came to my room and the bell man explained this, but maybe when you check in let people know this is how the electrical system works in the room.

It was leaking from fire prevention system. And it was leaking right to my bed. Bed was so wet that it was impossible to sleep. Leaking started at night, so it was no sense to change room in middle of night. When I show this to reseptionist this problem in the morning he only said: thank you for telling this (he did not offered any discount on my next stay, he did not even apology for this terrible stay).
