Ekes Konvents  

Poter guardare dalla propria finestra la piazza centrale di Riga in una struttura tutta in legno, e con solo otto stanze, è assolutamente impagabile. L'atmosfera giusta per vivere il centro storico della città. Massima tranquillità viste le poche stanze.

Le camere sono strettine, anzi monacali, ma è la struttura che ricalca un vecchio convento e non potrebbe essere altrimenti. Attenti alla camera due, era la più piccola ed è senza armadio. Se potete richiedete la camera uno.

La posizione è centralisima, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Molto pulito. La colazione abbondante, prodotti locali e varia. Struttura molto graziosa, in un vecchio convento. Ci ritornerei. Staff simpatico.

Stanze e bagno piccole, ma cmq sono le vecchie celle di un convento medievale. La colazione non è nello stesso albergo ma nell'albergo accanto Konvent Seta, ma questo non è un problema.

L'Ekes Konvents è un albergo grazioso e ben tenuto, in una posizione eccellente al centro di Riga. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente: chiedono il pagamento immediato all'arrivo, a differenza della generalità degli altri alberghi, ma questo non incide nella qualità dell'accoglienza. Le stanze sono graziose, pulitissime: bisogna fare le scale a piedi, un po' faticoso con una grossa valigia. La colazione è varia e buona. Si dorme bene, nonostante l'albergo sia nel cuore del centro storico.

The hotel right in the center of the Old Town-best place to feel the "old Riga" ambiance. The hotel is cozy, very small but comfortable. Stuff friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable. We took the smallest room because of the price - it's perfect for a weekend with small (!) luggage. Highly recomended! Being in Riga go at the seaside to Jurmala (Majori)! 30 min by train - ticket is cheap, the trains are ok, The Baltic is beautiful!

Hotel has great location in the city center. Hottel stuff is pretty friendly and hotel offers great value for the money.

Staff and location is perfect! I like the style of this hotel very much, it's quite cozy. That's why we chose this hotel. + there were no problems with water and heating.

Dislike: 1) it's too loud there, we heard everything from the street and our neighbours... 2) breakfast is quite poor 3) it's not white and new bed linen and towels... old and need to be changed... (cleanliness is most important factor for me, so room was clean, but towels and linen were not extremely awful, but could be better) 4) too small room. but all this negative sides are not so important if you are in a good mood and come to Riga for positive impressions! ;)

The best place in old part of Riga so nice and romantic!Bilding is 700 years old can you amagine that one and everything inside amazing.Don,t go there if your interests aare to sleep sweety and you don,t like night life :)

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.

It is a small but very cozy place with history. The hotel interior and the room are well decorated with the good mixture between history and modern facilities.

It would be nice if the hotel could lay a carpet on its wooden-floor corridor. Sometimes the sound of footsteps was really loud and very disturbing in the morning.

Nice Breakfast. Very central location. Clean room.

Night time noisy

The ancient history of the hotel cause we lived in the building of 15th century. The window open the view to the St.Peter Church - the big and monumental building as I ever seen. We saw only the part of the Church's wall, and stone-paved road with short Middle century's bank made of big old stones.

It is very cold in the room so you should ask the heater at the beginning of October.

Proximity to historical buildings of Riga.good breakfast provided by neighbouring restaurant.

Excesive noise from outside - buskers until late at night on first night, drunks in early hours of morning on second night.

The original building from 1425! Wery clean. Spacious room and bathroom. Quiet although the very busy touristic surroundings

No drinking water neither in room nor at the reception available (we arrived at 1.30 a.m., all shops were closed of course). No air conditioner in the room (we didn't need it, but later in summer it can be very hot)
