I think this hotel is in the best place inside old Riga, in the center but not in the noisy places.

I did not see any hotel in Latvia with real curtain protecting from the day light in the morning.

Excellent staff, helpful, would always ask if they could assist in any way. Bijou but comfortable room. Great view over the market square, and very convenient for the old city centre with all its facilities.

A little noisy from passers-by in the square, during the evening and into the night.

They really need to do something about the buskers who play past midnight in the street outside

The reception staff were outstandingly friendly - promptly assisting with everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Very warm and personable staff, nice feeling of staying in an old building reeking with history (it was once a convent.)

There´s nothing they can do about it, but the streets of Old Riga are very noisy, especially on weekends when packs of young people are out drinking and carousing. Plus, entertainers park themselves in front of the hotel and play for hours. I heard lots of accordion and harmonica, plus two seriously bad violinists.

- Very friendly and helpfull staff -the hotel is located in the epicenter of the old town (if you are sensitiv to noise during night, take your earplugs with you)

-The breakfast was in a different hotel. Therefore crowds of people tried to get food at the buffet and staff was overcharged, empty plates weren't cleared from tables not enough place to sit down, not clean

Excellent position and ambiance (medieval small building in main square of old town). Good free Wi-Fi and breakfast (in a restaurant nextdoor). Cozy (but small rooms). Excellent value for money

No lift, but just 2 floors up. No problem unless you are over 70 :-)

Nothing all good

Facility was ok but ...

Warning ! Evacuation exit was completelly stuck with a rubbish. At 7 am the main doors were locked, there were no windows on the ground floor, no stuff around etc. etc. I could not get out from the facility for 30 minutes. Staff doesnt pickup the phone and doesnt respond for bell's rings or "voice signals" !

The Ekes Konvents takes place in the city center and it was really useful for our trip. The personal was absolutely kind with us even we got the breakfast free for two days. The room is confortable, have all the utilities that you can need. Highly recommended.

Our room was quite noise (actually the staff informed us about it on arrival).

Located just in the center, it is rather quiet. The room wasn't too spacy, but it was enough to spend several nights. The hotel staff is very attentive and friendly.

Ok. There was no hot water and heating during the first day. As a result I caught a cold. I'd recomment to use this hotel only in summer.. The restorant is in the next building.

Very old and small hotel in the centre of old Riga - it's nice place!!!!!

Everething is very good: polite staff, very clean and comfortable, in the heart of Old town and close to railway station (10 minutes by foot), to central market, to supermarket Remi.

2-nd day of our visiting the hotwater system has been broken. For one day was only cold water, then hot water was only early morning. So before visiting ask hotel about fixing hotwater sysytem

Hallways historic, nice old building

No hot water second day. Breakfast around corner is not very good and very crowded,.(.I gave up) Linens old and frayed,.. not representative of quality, especially for a 100 Euro/night charge. no chairs or desk to work at,... internet wireless very spotty and inefficient.

Very nice historical atmosphere, even authentic. You'd like it, if you are looking for something from past ages. Kind staff.
