Wellton Elefant Hotel    

We did really like everything. Receptionist was so helpful and put our bikes for free into store room by the reception desk. Breakfast was very substantional and tasty so even our 4 y.o. son tried to have everything twice. We also had a chance to try a dinner meny at the hotel's restaurant and every meal we had was tasty and big enough.

The location implies that you've got to take a public bus (# 22) or use your own car to get rhe old town.

The hotel is clean and sort of 'luxury'. Stuff are friendly, breakfast is very good.

Location - it takes 10 minutes on bus to get to the old town. Noisy road outside - do ask for a room with patio-side windows.

Excellent facilities, friendly staff, easy to find, convenient for Riga airport and only 5 min drive to city centre. Very good breakfast, better than in some more expensive hotels.

Air conditioning in my room wasn't working or switched off. Had to sleep with windows open.

Autoban near the hotel. Noisy.

Stylish design. Friendly Staff both in the bar and on a front desk. Clean room. 10 minutes away from the airport and city center, so it is convenient if you have early morning flight. In total, everything was fine besides two things in a "-" section.

I was staying with my girlfriend and we were expecting to have a Hot Deal Double Room, instead we got upgraded to a Comfort Twin room. SPA and Wellness Center does not have an indoor swimming pool.

Excellent Hotel. One of the best in Riga. Reception works just perfect (Oksana is the best).

7 minutes drive from airport, good breakfast, nice room, professional reception, special price (around 60 USD)for single room.

There was not enough place during the breakfast, I had to share the table. Good for airport transit night, but may be too far from life for other occasions.

Room cleanliness.

Staff habits ( charged 2x price of dinner ) and restaurant ( was closed one night without any other possibility to eat ). Never more....

bed was comfortable,shower was amazing..)like the fact that you could get a beer from fridge in the room.food was excelent.

A very nice hotel with good internet connection (no silly passwords, activations etc.) and private parking. Cozy lobby bar, nice room design. We were leaving early and the hotel provided us breakfast outside of working hours. Highly recommended.

Air-condition was not helping when room was really hot, probably because of material that hotel is built from.

It was too hot in the room sometimes and regulating the temperature didnt really work and opening of a window didnt really cause the room to cool down either. Breakfast could be different and not the same stuff in the morning since you get tired of same food everyday

Too thin walls. The whole night was forced to listen to the dialogue in the next room and could not sleep.

The reception was well above par. The girls upon my arrival greeted me with smiles and a positive attitude. Nice room, great value and the breakfast was better than expected. The room cleaning service was excellent. “Don’t be cheap leave them a few euros, lats. They deserve it. I will stay again.

Saturday night I wanted to relax and eat in the restaurant. It was closed due to some function. It would have been nice if the hotel let people know in advance. I was forced to order room service or go into town. I ordered room service and it was the most expensive and worst meal I ate in Riga. The person who brought the meal to my room was cold. I wish I did not give him a tip. It was not worth it and I always tip.

A bus were standing in front of the hotel all night, breaking the traffic rules. And it was very difficult to go past this bus to entrance of the hotel.

Close to airport. Restaurant open until 3 am - perfect if you are arriving with a late plane. Good internet connection. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast not served before 7.30 - too late if you have an early flight.

Everything was just perfect. The quality is better then the price. The city center and the airport is very close.

It is not the best location but there is lots of taxi and the pablic transport.

Location is like middle of big road. When you go to the old city by taking bus from the hotel, you need to get off different location.

Great hotel with a super friendly staff and well stocked rooms. Internet worked great. They also have different massage/SPA offerings which is great after a long flight. Kitchen works till 3am so you can get something to eat even if you return to the hotel very late.

Exceptional staff performance at both reception and restaurant departments, very tasty dish variety at restaurant and decent prices.

Very modern hotel, very clean, tidy rooms of a decent size. Great bathroom and shower. And good value. Free wifi in the rooms. And lots of power sockets in the room Smartly presented building, inside and out. The restaurant looks swish and has good furniture. Breakfast was great as well. Seems in the middle of nowhere, but I don't know the layout of Riga very well. Easy to get to from the airport either by airport shuttle bus (3 lats) or taxi (6 lats). By bus it takes 10-15 minutes. Well equipped gym which is accessible 24 hours a day. All the equipment is new. 2 treadmills, a bike and a cross trainers. Free weights and a few weights machines.

Maybe not the best location if you don't have a car, but I think there was a bus stop outside, which I'm sure would take you to the city centre.

Breakfast was variable and good. Room was nice and clean. The hotel is easy to find.

Would have like to have a indoor swimmingpool there.
