Staying at the Europa Royale Riga Hotel was just like being in a different dimension: it was quite a feeling. Although rooms do really need a refurbishment, everything was great: from the location of the hotel (10 minute walk to the Old Town and just across a very nice park) to the kindness of the staff to the size of rooms and to the overall comfort. If there's one thing needing improvement, that is breakfast (actualy not the breakfast itself, but the service (everytime we had to straighten up the table previously used by other hotel guests). Asi ahve already mentioned, the service at breakfast! |

Location for sightseeing, hotel architecture, helpfullness of main desk receptionist, secure area for bagage to be left after checkout. Guests were treat like a hinderence due to some 'girlie' competition in hotel and most area's were out of bounds, breakfast staff were discourteous, room stunk of cigaret smoke, noisy from road traffic and people walking along corridor. |

Beautiful hotel located not far from the old city of Riga. The room was very nice and the staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay there! The dining room (which is beautiful!) for the breakfast is sometimes too small when there are too many guests. |

Location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast restaurant was luxorious. We had booked a delux room, but we were given a standard room fot the first night. The compensation was more than we expected: royal suite for the rest of the two nights. The were some delays in hotel's services, but the staff was very nice and friendly. |

Good location and a beautiful old building. Only double bed rooms as requested were in pokey little rooms out the back with no view. Was very noisey from other guests and banging doors. |

The rooms were spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was especially good! Our room had a window facing the street, and there was some noise from the traffic. It didn't bother us, though. |

The room which was a standard room was really big with its own walk in wardrobe. The corridors and public areas are beautifully furnished. The hotel is in an excellent location across from a park and near both the old town and shops. The tv in the room needs to be upgraded.BBC World was unavailable. There was no compimentary shower hat and in fact toiletries were a bit skimpy. A larger selection of breads at breakfast would be nice-there was only rye bread and bread for toasting. The boiled eggs were cold and it would be nice to be able to boil your own. |

This hotel is a real success. It is greatly located by a park in a wonderful jugendstil-house. The personal is outstanding friendly and the restaurant is really cosy and has a high quality. The breakfast was really good although there was not enough bacon. The temperature in the room was much too low. |

Hotellin sijainti hyvä ja huoneet tilavat, kauniisti sisustettu. Romanttiset sängyt ja kylpyhuoneet. Henkilökunta tivasi maksua aamiaisesta useaan kertaan, vaikka hotellivoycerin mukaan aamiainen kuului huoneen hintaan. Saimme ensiksi standard huoneen, vaikka olimme varanneet de luxe huoneen. Ensimmäisen yön jälkeen vaihdoimme de luxe huoneeseen. |

gute Lage, sehr stilvolle Räumlichkeiten in einer etwa 100 Jahre alten Stadtvilla, große Zimmer im 4. OG haben viele Zimmer keine "richtigen" Fenster, sondern nur sehr kleine Fensteröffnungen; daher sind diese Zimmer sehr dunkel - für längere Aufenthalte, bei denen man auch mal Zeit im Zimmer verbringt, nicht optimal |
