Location was perfect in the Old Town and still near the bus stop of the airport bus #22. The room with the bathroom was good basic level. The smell of urine in the bathroom was a bit unpleasant. Aside from that, the room and the bathroom were clean and nice. The breakfast was good enough (3 alternatives) and service was fast (around 8 a.m.). In the summer time, there will be warm in the room because there aren't air conditioner in the room, and the window must be closed during the nights because there is the night club Depo with its noises opposite the hotel. The smell of urine in the bathroom. |

The staff was very helpfull and nice. We got very much information in at the reception about averything we wanted. Breakfast was served to tables with friendly smile which I think was nice. The room was cleaned/tidied always while we vere out. (No disturbing when we were in the room.) The furniture was nice also. : ) The bed was not very comfortable. There were no bed-making-matresses. The sheet was on the string-matress which was quite warn and shaped to a "pothole" where the back was lower that other parts of your body. |

We arrived two hours earlier but we could use our rooms. The staff was very helpfull, when we wanted to leave at 8.30 a.m. Our breakfast was served in our room. A taxi took us to the airport. The hotel had a special arrangement with one taxi company. We had a room at the street side. At night the backpackers of the hostel next door made a lot of noise. We had to close the window, but it was too warm to do so. |

Good Quality, comfortable and clean rooms in an excellent location on the edge of the Old Town and at an excellent price and even more so, if there are 2 of you sharing. The Breakfast room is far too small and has a very limited choice of what to eat. You choose the menu you wish and what you get is all you get, At other hotels in Riga, you can eat as much as you like. This is the only criticism I have at this hotel and I've stayed here 3 or 4 times in the past 4 or 5 years. |

Hotel Forums has an excellent location, right in the old town of Riga, very close to the central station, the central market, restaurants/cafés and shopping malls. The receptionists were really friendly. The room was good and clean with a well stocked minibar. The bathroom seemed newly renovated and had a bath tub. The night guard was grumpy when he had to let us in to the hotel in the middle of the night (although it was his job! ;) |
