The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Though comfort was not optimal (we are a mid 60's couple) the room and facilities were spotlessly clean. The location was great since it took only 15 minutes walking to the center of activities. All together we were really pleased with our stay at Frederiks Inn and particularly impressed with the attention of the staff and their eagerness to please.

They keeping our luggages for some hours for free after check out. Staff was very nice and friendly.

As soon as you arrive at Frederiks, you feel yourself at an army camp more than being at a hostel or even at a dormitory. The rules are set at the very beginning and no flexibilities about them (the type of breakfast you have, check out time and even the guy manages this place comments about your rooms tideness etc.) I can not say this place is a hostel.It is just one story apartment in which you stay at one of its rooms. So it should not be listed in booking.com either. It is at least 25 mins walk form city center and not so cheap. Being asked 2 Lats for keeping luggages for some hours after chek out?very funny..You can easily find much more descent places located in the city center at same rates or below than here.

This is a gem. Very friendly owner who is very welcoming. Nice rooms, much attention to detail. Nice bathroom, clean and modern. Plus extra toilet. Breakfast at an extra 2 lat is very good.This man is really a good host and you can see that he loves his place. Cannot be beat for this price. Plus good location, everything is close by. Lots of nice restaurants on nearby streets.

It was very good to live in this hostel. Very comfortable, location is good, 10 min. by walk to old city center, near is very good bar, staff and Frederiks are very interest and good persons ;) the breakfasts were excellent ) Thank you for our staying here!

Good value for money as well a location.

Fresh colour smell in the room because they opened in a few months ago. Also there are a few pubs near - if you stay at weekend be ready for a loud.

Frederiks was fantastic! Upon arriving at the hotel, we were shown around the converted apartment by Frederik, who has obviously put in a lot of work and care to restore the property. He was extremely helpful in helping to get us oriented and to suggest what to see, where to eat, etc. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was varied a bit each day and the free tea and coffee available all day was also much appreciated. The location is also great for exploring the city as it is just a couple blocks away from the old city area and is near a lot of restaurants as well as a supermarket. Would highly recommend this as the place to stay in Riga!

Good WiFi. Separate, but excellentbathroom. Goed breakfast.

Read your email for the doorcode. Remeber it is on the 4th floor, no elevator.

Cozy, hospitable. Located in an antique apartment.

Frederik is very welcoming and friendly and really makes you feel at home. It was like staying in a B&B with breakfast served to you. Couldn't really ask for a better place to stay and for that extremely good value. Also quick 15 minutes walk from the Freedom Monument and Old Town.

не принимают банковскую карту для оплаты в моей поездке по региону Frederiks Inn предоставлял минимальный объем услуг из всех гостиниц где я жил, при том что был самым дорогим отелем в поездке.

Камерный отель в центре Риги, условия достаточно просты (но всё чисто и аккуратно), плюс радушие хозяина Фредерика это всё компенсировало. Завтрак достаточный. Хороший бюджетный вариант для непритязательных путешественников.

'Ηταν κοντά με τα πόδια από την παλιά πόλη, καθώς και από το σταθμό των λεωφορείων.

Όταν έφτασα δεν υπήρχε κανείς να μου ανοίξει και για περίπου μία ώρα ήμουν στο δρόμο και προσπαθούσα να βρω άκρη. Τελικά από ένα διπλανό μαγαζί με βοήθησαν τηλεφωνώντας εκείνοι - το δικό μου κινητό δεν έπιανε- και ήρθε κάποιος και μου άνοιξε.

понравилось всё! удобное расположение, внимательный и ненавязчивый сервис, приятная стоимость, разглагольствовать не буду, просто скажу, что в следующий раз, только туда! P.s. Фредерик спасибо за чудо-таблетку и плед с черепами;)

скрип пола в номере был запредельный и слишком хорошая слышимость всего, что происходит за стенами номера

Удивительно доброжелательный хозяин,несмотря на неудобства,которые мы ему невольно причинили,повел себя с поистине британской выдержкой=)Интерьер очень стильный для хостела,хотя и сделан минимальными средствами.Цена-качество-оптимальное,рекомендую!!!

Хороший подход к посетителям. Столкнулся только с одной проблемой-код домофона в подъезд, и то по своей глупости, его заранее присылают по sms на ваш мобильный. Все остальное полностью устроило, соотношение цен-качество идеальные!

очень вежливый и гостеприимный хозяин. уютные, чистые номера. всегда чистые общие зоны. близко к центру, очень легко добраться до старой риги. впечатление от хостела и персонала отличные! буду рекомендовать это место друзьям!

Недорого, место тихое, но в двух шагах от старого города. чисто, есть всё, что надо. отдельное спасибо за гостеприимство, за советы - будто к другу старому в гости приехал) и за кофе!=) The old town is close - about 10min walk. I found everything I needed in the hotel. Special thanks to Frederiks. Will stay here next time.

фредерик - отличный хозяин, всегда готов ответить на все вопросы и помочь по всем пунктам. дружелюбен и участлив во всем. расположение отеля удобное, всего 10 минут пешком до старой риги. соотношение цена/качество просто идеальное. если поедем в ригу еще, вопросов, где остановиться, у нас не будет - только к фредерику!

о минусах писали уже - не хватает вешалки, штор... но это мелочи в принципе.
