small room poor and small bed problems with WIFI
Location is the best part of the hotel. Staff is correct
Decoration is awful, too baroque
Staff went extra mile. Friendly and very helpfull.
The room was very basic and small. Carpet was with stains. Bathroom would need deep clean and update. The shower hose was broken and we couldn`t enjoy a proper shower , also the shower was quite dirty ...sure not a 4 star room .
The reception said the transfer from the Hotel to the Airport was 15 EUR, while the driver asked 20 EUR at arrival. Why making tricks? Its so sad.
Location Breakfast Staff
Bathroom was a little small
I liked the location of the hotel and great breakfast - varied and very tasty, the hotel is located in an old building and is stylishly decorated.
Friendly, peaceful, elegant hotel. Excellent breakfast.
No kettle in the rooms. Small, unrepaired gash in our bedroom wall.
+staff was amazing and really helpful +lovely room and very quiet +perfect location everything was super nearby
+breakfast room was quite small for the amount of people
The bed was not so good: If you don't lay exactly in the middle of the (one person) bed the pocket springs were not strong enough anymore to give support to your back and you feel a tendency to "roll" to one of the sides instead of feeling that your back is supported in every position in the bed. This resulted in a little bit a stiff back every morning. In other hotels in riga the beds were better. Could of course be a coincidence that the beds in my room were not so good.
Room facilities, cleanliness, light in the room (low quality of sleep)
location, price, staff, design of foyer
poor design of room
Good location, elegant environment, good service, breakfast very rich!

Room, staff and location were great. Hotel was quiet and family friendly.
Great location, right in the old city, very cosy and friendly hotel. Stayed there for the third time. Breakfast is various and suitable for small kids (oatmeal porridge included). Rooms are not big, but quite enough for short stay, in fact just to sleep there. Liked a la cart restaurant in the hotel. Special thanks for the finest deserts :)
Standard room doesn't have air-conditioning. During summer, it's impossible to sleep when it's hot. Opening the windows help but then there's loads of noise because we have the street view. This hotel does not have 4 star quality.
the bar atmosphere and outside was very nice as well as the rooms and staff, we very much enjoyed our stay in Riga and are looking forward to get there again ...
the embrella on the top deck was very annoying if there is find and was not possible to close it yourself (suite apartment)
Location was excellent and the hotel has a lovely courtyard outside. We were upgraded to a 2 roomed family room which was good as I believe the room we were originally in was very small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel is a beautiful building but I think it is in need of a bit of modernising.
The shower and shower door needed replacing and some of the fixtures were a bit tired. We were not given enough towels initially but this was remedied eventually.
Location Hotel ( receptioniste, hallways,...) Price Price/quality Friendly staff
Rooms bit worn down (room 303) No airco Basic breakfast (but OK)
Nice staff and hotel great for location to nightlife
very good for those ones who like to go out of hotel and be in the deep center of Riga old city
old hotel, simple room, old furnitures, the wooden floor creaks while walking. Also i asked for a coffe at 7am when breakfast was still closed and i couldn't get it
The first impression was very good. Perfect location, close to the old town. Big spacious room, nicely decorated and elegant furniture. Our own balcony. Good breakfast. Quiet area.
The bank terminal had no connection when we arrived and we were asked to pay in cash. We had to pay €5 for internet connection that turned out to be very unstabil. Minor flaws in the room; the holder for the keycard/power switch was broken/fell off all the time, dark light in the bathroom, the shower head mount was broken, aircondition didn't work - the room was very hot and humid even though the ac was turned on, which made it hard to sleep. The hotel looks nice on pictures but it is not as luxurious inside..
Being moved to the room for which we believed we had paid after being stuck in an appalling hot shoebox over the front street with no air and very small space on the first night. We insisted on being moved and were given an aircon room in the attic which also had black out curtains and was very spacious for no extra money. This room was certainly worth the money. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory.
Being given a shockingly tiny room with no ventilation other than a window over the front street which meant that in temperature of mid twenties, we were unable to sleep at all because the window had to be opened in order to breathe and the consequent noise and light meant that this room was certainly not worth the money. The description of the room as BRIGHT was an understatement. This room was certainly not worth the money and we were prepared to move if the hotel had not come up with an alternative. I do not like the fact that there seemed to be two types of rooms depending on how insistent you were.
Breakfast good. Restaurants nice with good service. Beautiful furnishings in lobby
Furniture in rooms shabby and carpets needed attention. Showers had mold in the corner s.
Excellent location in a minute walk from the Dome square and Old City (not far from the railway station). Friendly reception staff ready to help. Very good price/value.
Breakfast this time was very disappointing: 10 min. line to get a cup of coffee or tea! Lots of people (hotel was full) with no single attempt from the staff to address the problem. Room interiors (esp. bathrooms) need to be renovated.
