The Boutique Hotel Monte Kristo is located on Riga’s Old Town, only 500 metres from the Central Railway Station. It offers rooms with cable TV, a minibar and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1130 reviews Very good
Charming boutique hotel nicely furnished pleasant staff choose a room on the 5th floor as some have private terraces perfect to enjoy an evening drink. Moderate prices in the minibar which is quite a surprise!
When reserving taxi in hotel insist on AirBaltic or Red taxi. We went with some another and he used a taximeter speeder - (+ 5 EUR)
The hotel has a great location in old town. Very close to main attractions. The rooms are very silent and the breakfast is awesome!
They only have free wifi on the ground floor. On the rooms is paid.

Wifi was as advertised. But frustrating. Needs upgrading to maintain 4 star rating.
Location,Staff,Breakfast,Value for money,Location and especially the Location (in case I forgot to mention it)
No Parking area.
Nice position. Good staff. Great breakfast.

Q hotels location is good ...
One particular lady on the reception desk made my stay miserable....for any problem we faced with Ac not working, internet not working ,her answer was no she can't help me ....first time ever I have seen such ridiculous expressions on a reception persons face, we felt she was doing a favour by answering to my problems in one word...NO...the other lady Zane was nice to us.
location kind staff
too dark light in rooms no wi-fi in rooms too expensive for quality
Location is the best part of the hotel. Staff is correct
Decoration is awful, too baroque
Staff went extra mile. Friendly and very helpfull.
The room was very basic and small. Carpet was with stains. Bathroom would need deep clean and update. The shower hose was broken and we couldn`t enjoy a proper shower , also the shower was quite dirty ...sure not a 4 star room .
The reception said the transfer from the Hotel to the Airport was 15 EUR, while the driver asked 20 EUR at arrival. Why making tricks? Its so sad.
Location Breakfast Staff
Bathroom was a little small
I liked the location of the hotel and great breakfast - varied and very tasty, the hotel is located in an old building and is stylishly decorated.
Friendly, peaceful, elegant hotel. Excellent breakfast.
No kettle in the rooms. Small, unrepaired gash in our bedroom wall.
+staff was amazing and really helpful +lovely room and very quiet +perfect location everything was super nearby
+breakfast room was quite small for the amount of people
The bed was not so good: If you don't lay exactly in the middle of the (one person) bed the pocket springs were not strong enough anymore to give support to your back and you feel a tendency to "roll" to one of the sides instead of feeling that your back is supported in every position in the bed. This resulted in a little bit a stiff back every morning. In other hotels in riga the beds were better. Could of course be a coincidence that the beds in my room were not so good.
Room facilities, cleanliness, light in the room (low quality of sleep)
location, price, staff, design of foyer
poor design of room
