Guest House Ziedkalni

L'accueil fut agréable et la maison très confortable. Notre hôte nous a reçu avec beaucoup d'attention et s'est efforcée à ce qu'il ne nous manque de rien. Nos repas furent délicieux, composés uniquement de produits cultivés dans le potager de la maison. C'est un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et rejoindre les sentiers de randonnées pédestres et en vtt.

Malheureusement, nous avons mis plus d'une heure pour trouver la maison depuis Dumele. Il n'y avait aucune indication, et certaines routes étant fermées, cela a considérablement ralenti notre arrivée. Attention également, notre hôte nous avait proposé un sauna à notre arrivée (pour nous détendre!). Nous avions compris que c'était tel un cadeau de bienvenue et avons été surpris au moment de régler nos nuitées. 40€ pour un sauna, qui plus est, n'était pas à bonne température.

夕方、ホテルに到着をして奥さんと息子が出迎えてくれた。 とても気さくなお母さん。。 夕食もよければということでご馳走になることに、家の庭で栽培している野菜中心で新鮮且つ、愛情たっぷり。- 　おいしく頂きました。食事は、Guest Houseの池に面したテラスでお庭のお花とクロスを敷いた旦那様の手作り家具に包まれながら。 Guest Houseもきっと旦那様の手作りかなと、部屋は余り大きくは無いですが、ぬくもりを感じRelaxできま- す。 大自然の中でゆったりと過ごせ、ラトビアでまた素敵な発見!　また必ず行きます。 *** ラトビアの道は標識も少なく見過ごすことは多々あります。 「Guest House Ziedkalni」さんのお家を探す際には、必ずGPSをお忘れなく。 また、夏場は特に虫除けをお忘れなく！

It is a beautiful guesthouse with sauna, kitchen, washing machine, tv and so on. There are four guest rooms. It is situated in the woods on a pretty little lake. It is perfect for a relaxing stay. Next to the guesthouse, you find the house of the very friendly family, which provide also delicious breakfast and dinner.

It is not that easy to find

De dame was enorm vriendelijk, een heel verzorgd huisje, en midden in de natuur aan een vijver, zalig rustig!

A beautiful location, in the middle of the woods with a small lake. The lady who is running the guest house is very friendly and very helpful, she gives you a feeling that you are very welcome to be her guests. Very nice equipped kitchen.

When all rooms are occupied it becomes a little bit stressful since the space is too small for so many people (you have to share all facilities).

Ziedkalni is a very pretty Guest house set next to a small pond in the owners large garden. It is off the beaten track and a very peacfull place to relax. We were luck to be the only guests which made the place extra special. A large space for children to run with swing, netball hoop and sand pit. Kids also loved watching the frogs and large dragon flies.

Bedroom are on the small side, not sure where the extra bed would go as offered. Kitchen would struggle to cope with 4 couples self catering. 2 rings and a small fridge. Note the guest house is 6Km down a gravel track.
