The room was excellent, the bed comfortable, the bathroom luxurious. Everything was neat, fresh and clean. The staff was helpful in ordering taxis and explaining about nearby facilities such as pharmacy. Overall it was _great_ value for my money. The wireless internet didn't work most of the time. However the staff was doing everything they could to fix it so I didn't feel my problem was neglected. |

Very good place, near city center and bicycles to rent. Excelent kitchen for prepairing food by ourself. Supermarket is just on the corner. Could be more WC, as in the morning it is not enought.. |

A receptionist was attentive. The bathroom was big enough and I liked the flat TV. Though renovated a few years ago, the furniture and interiour is still in a good condition. City centre is near to walk, even with suitcases. Overall, the hotel is clean. I stayed alone in a single room (2 twin beds) for 39 EUR per night and I found it a good deal. In France that kind of hotel would have charged 60-100 EUR. The breakfast room was a little bit small. However, the hotel itself is not huge as well. However, I wanted to have my breakfast at 7:10 a.m. and there was a group of German tourists who had occupied the whole room/hall. I did not have place to sit down for 15 minutes. At the same time I had to rush to catch my plane on time. Some sea style decorations seemed unappropriate/tasteless. However, the old hrushtshovka style house is well renovated. Design was quite typical to any other hotel but still, I rather enjoyed than despised the interiour. Just I hate beige/brown colour combinations, I find them depressive. Again, I evaluated the hotel higher than many similar kind of French hotels which cost much much more per night. |

Breakfast is pretty good and the pub where it's served is very nice. The staff were very pleasant and the possibility of internet access in the reception lobby is very handy. The location is close to the centre and bus station although sometimes walking through the markets is not so enjoyable at night. The Science Academy Building is very near and has a great view of the city, worth the fee to enter. |

Very peaceful environment and nice view overlooking a church and calm streets. Still only a few minutes walk away from the central market and the old town. We got a nice non-smoking room as requested :) |

The hotel was very convenient to the railway station, and I liked the way it had been refurbished to make the most of the building, although the location is not in the prettiest part of Riga. The lighting in the room was either very bright or hardly any light. |

Fresh modern hotel - well equiped rooms with lovely ensuite. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. On Friday saturday night there was a lot of noise in the early hours from people coming in drunk. |
