Really nice, modern facilities. The pub/restaurant in the basement serves quality food. Good variety of choice for breakfast. Excellent reception staff. Two lifts. Short walk to the Central Market and Old Town. Easy to access via bus no.22 from the airport. Location is in a rather run down area but it presented no problems. |

this hotel is great value for money.location is a little bit out of town about 10 minutes walk from the town.Despite all of the other comments walking at night back to the hotel was safe underneath a dark railway tunnel.or taxis shoudnt cost that much 3-4 lats ask price before hand though red taxis are pretty good. breakfast was a bit poor |

Staff knowledgable and very helpful. Breakfast good and different hot selection every day. Clean, modern and within walking distance of old/new town points of interest. Airport bus stop close by at the central station. The mattress could be a little more comfortable but I suppose this is a personal preference. |

Friendly staff on the reception. Walking distance to the town, bus station (although through a daunting neighbourhood) Although promised on the website there was no underfloor heating in the bathroon. Wifi access wasn't too good (room was on the top floor). Breakfast could have provided more fresh fruit/ drinks & more variety. It would have been nice to have fitness facilities at the hotel or nearby. |

The shower and bathroom were of a high standard and the water was hot. Good flat screen tv. The reception for bbc World service was not good - a buzzing noise. No Danish pastries at breakfast. |

We stayed twice at the Hanza, once in a standard room and once in a delux room. Both were more than adequate, quite large, well fitted bathrooms and a bath in the delux room. Staff were very helpful. The location was good, 15 minute walk into town, close to the railway and international bus stations and the no 22 bus to the airport. The hotel is ion a very quiet location. We used the hotel "pub" resturant every night of our stay as it represented good value, and for Riga, well cooked and nicely presented food in a pleasant room. |

Very modern interior to traditional style building. Good location with outside patio. We were definately put in a single room. Duvet too small and only one bathtowel. Offered to move us to another bigger room but we only had one more night so settled for extra duvet and towels! |

Its location and the staff were very welcoming/helpful.. There was no air conditioning in the room we stayed. The service in the Hanza Pub was a little tardy, could do with a speeding up a bit. |

Excellent staff, interior seemed very new. The breakfast buffet selection in cellar restaurant was excellent. I stayed end of August and room was spacious & comfortable. The heated floors in bathrooms would make it nice in cold months too. Very easy to get to old town, and liked proximity to very large central market making buying local fresh foods a real treat. Very convenient to international bus terminal as I went onto Tallinn from there. You pass through market area and by bus terminal on way to old town. It was difficult to find. I had to ask three different people directions. It is conveniently located but should have a sign off of Gogoja Ul. pointing toward it as it blends in with neighborhood having been a converted apartment building. The surrounding neighborhood needed some fixing up but as I walked around more it seemed to have enough traffic from residents to make one feel comfortable. Once the neighboring buildings get fixed up it will definitely 'feel' better but that's not a knock on the hotel itself. |
