Everything was ok.. Services was much better than you can expect from 3 stars hotel

Very comfortable and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet place, located on the bank of river. Close to the old town district. Low cost.

Everything was how we expected. We stayed just one night but it was good choice and I can recommend this Hotel for the others.

No so easy to get to Old Town (on foot rather far) Taxi costs 3lvl to get across the bridge. Would be very cool to have opportunity to rent a bike in a hotel (and then leave it in center — like balticbikes do). On check-in you'll need LVL's to pay right away (euro won't work).

The excellent hotel has interesting location and big, bright rooms. There are friendly staff and nice breakfasts.

This is a small, but nice hotell. We had a good stay with big room and it was clean and with nice furnituring. Breakfast was good! It`s kind of a low budget hotel (we paid 50 euro a night) and it`s about 2km outside of the old-town and on the other side of the bridge. We came by ferry and its easy to find. Some has written on the comments that it`s in a bad neighbourhood but I don`t think its that bad. It`s outside of the city-centre.. Yes, and you can see very old crappy houses and new houses around I the area of the hotel. I believe it`s just a country, working hard to keep up after beeing independent as a country and you will see this all over the place. We had a motorcycle but it felt safe to park outside the hotel since they had a fence around the area.

I`m sorry to say, the beds/matresses were not comfertable at all.and these were very hard and old.We like soft beds but If you are not to picky when it comes to the bed I would recommend this hotel if not, find another one.

Friendly staff, room was very nice in general. Great place to stay,when you don't want to visit Riga city center or even Old Town by foot.

Location. Cant's say that is 15 min to Riga Old Town, more like 30 min and not so safe maybe (many old houses, poor local people), especially with children.

Huge room, good breakfast, nice views, great value for money.

Cannot be reached by public transport unless you are prepared to haul your luggage 2 km through a run-down area (which at night seems completely deserted), so only suitable for those with a car or those prepared to do a lot of walking or travel by taxi.

Big 4* rooms for a 2* price with nice staff a great river view.

It's simply a weird location. If you want to be in the centre of town or have bars etc that you can wander out to in the evening then the Vantis is not for you (it's surrounded by nothing but derelict buildings and the river) but if you want to enjoy the long evenings watching the river traffic against the lights of the old town then you can't do better!

The room itself - very comfortable. The hotel itself (small and clean) and it's territory.
