Very good 4 stars hotel, not more! Hotel is definitely overrated. It is not as luxuries as one 5 stare hotel should be. Perfect location, quite clean, staff and service acceptable (like everywhere in Baltic countries, not over that), breakfast is good (taste and variability), professional staff in the breakfast room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bathroom. Room is spacious but looks like empty, not very comfortable, interior decoration is quite poor. No climate control system – it was very cold in my room, they brought me a heater that was probably as old as the hotel and was very noisy. Windows are old and one can hear everything from the street (noisy mcdonalds in front of the hotel). Carpet was dirty and worn-out. There were a coat of dust and hairs behind the door to bathroom. Quite nice and soft towels, however somebody used one of them before me (probably to clean the shoes). I gave it to receptionist, she was very sorry, but that’s it (they even didn’t change it) when I came back). Bed was not prepared for sleeping in the evening (I was out and they had a lot of time for that) and etc. |

This is a great location with the style of a classic non-chain hotel of the 60's Paris and Rome but not run down like they are today. The location is excellent and rooms spacious. Magnificent breakfast buffet. One of my favorite hotels after just one stay! Beware of the front rooms which overlook the city meeting place for teenagers, but the double glazing keeps this out. Also check your SatNav if you are driving - ours tried to take us through the pedestrian zones! The hotel is on one of the main roads with a row of red hotel branded taxis outside. But no real negatives. |

Luxurious food. Great location. Very convenient. Very polite, helpful staff.Room was very comfortable, clean. Great views Only one thing. Very noisy people at McDonalds woke me up on two nights. Perhaps suggest thicker glass/windows |

The efficient staff at the desk. They have good langue skills and are serviceminded. I also like that the hotel did knowtice my earlier stays in advance. Small thing, but let people get their ovn coffe - or put it on the table in the morning. Quit to serv it - from time to time the staff is occupied and guests have to wait. |

Location of the hotel is wonderful. Within walking area of old town and all sites. Great buffet breakfast from top floor with great view. Spacious room. Kind staff. One computer available in lobby to check emails. |

The location was excellent and very close to all the main sites. We had a fantastic room at the corner of the hotel and were serenaded by the local buskers. Breakfast was superb and the whole atmosphere each morning set you up for the day. We initally walked past the hotel because of the shops and then realised that all the flags really gave it away! |
