At the heart of Riga’s Old Town, Dome Pearl Hostel occupies an elegant Art Nouveau building just 100 ft from Dome Cathedral. It features a 24-hour front desk.
Score from 301 reviews Very good
Opened in summer 2009, this very centrally located hotel provides quiet rooms and friendly service within easy walking distance of the historic quarter of Riga.

Location (Riga is small anyway) most of the things are walking distance.
Nothing about the hostel, but the recepcionist weren't very helpfull about recomendations for places to eat.
Excellent breakfast every morning and nice historical building with high ceiling and original doors. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
might have some issues with luggage,as there is no elevator.but still it`s a good value and more..
They have a kitchen and fridge so you can use it as well. Breakfast was quite good enough. Will definitely stay next time! :)
Wifi is weak and almost not present in the room far away from reception.
The breakfast was ok and I liked that we could come and go at any time.
Wifi was terrible.
Really friendly and helpfull staff. They really make you feel welcome. One of the best places i have been at in Riga.
The room was situated at the last floor (the fifth!) of an old building, 10-15 minutes from the Central Station and the same from the Old Town, on a pretty large safe street. It looked clean and the beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was at a lower floor and it consisted of ham, fried eggs, cheese, cereals, yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers, butter, different kinds of bread, milk, coffee, tea, juice. We were ok with this hotel, considering the price we paid.
No elevator (22 steps/level)! The furniture is kinda old... the doors look like after some World War, but they have their charm....! The room's view was not very attractive: an interior yard?!?
Great location, friendly stuff!
No noise from the street. I was able to leave my luggage after check-out. Rooms are clean.
Breakfast was average and the hotel was not prepared to serve it to the number of guests they had - there were not enough cutlery. Long wait for hot water from shower.
Room is suitable for sleeping only. Strange smells in the room. Liquid soap only in the bathroom. If you will check-out before breakfast and would like to eat something in the morning, then you should notify hotel some days before ...
* the location - just a short walk away from the historic old town * facilities - there was a small kitchen included in our double room (a gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, some kitchenware) * cozy and quiet
since the weather was quite cold for september and there was no heating, the rooms were a bit chilly
The hotel is clean and simple, nothing fancy, and the price is quite low according other hotels. Breakfast was simple but ok, food was fresh and tasty. Just my advice would be, that it would be nice get some fruits for breakfast as well.
The last day wi-fi didn't work at all and conection is quite low. There is no elevator and no parking space. The suff could give more information where to park the car, maybe to find out more information where parking is free in the town.
Located 10 mins walk from old town. Staff friendley & helpfull. Hotel is very basic but clean.
Beds a little on the old side & could do with thicker mattress.
Location is good, right next to the awesome Hare Krishna restaurant on Krisjana Barona. Supermarkets opposite and on the corner of Barona. Tram (and buses) straight to the centre from just outside.
Basically the place is a set of old flats so the doors aren't too soundproof. If you take a cup of coffee from the breakfast place to your room you'll be told off.
The room was cozy and clean. The shower was nice. The location is not excellent but pretty good. About 15 min walk from old town.
very good location in the city center, close to tram stop
Price, separate room, location
The staff kept speaking Latvian although I spoke Russian from the beginning.
Breakfast. Center of the city. Very low price.
No lock at bathroom.
Spacious rooms with TV, hair dryer, phone and wi-fi internet. Breakfast included - nothing too spectacular, but includes the standard set of 2 types of cheese and ham, bread, eggs, cereal, yogurt and butter. Location is simply great - 15 min from the train station, 20 min from the bus station and 20 min from the old town, which is close enough to get there on foot, but far enough to be away from all the touristy bustle. Also, it is located among the most amazing art nouveau buildings in the world, so the hotel serves as a great starting point for their exploration.
Attention - there are rooms up till the 6th floor and no elevator
We had a large room with a comfortable double bed, adjacent shower room and kitchenette in corridor outside our room. Close enough to Vecriga (Old Town) for us to walk in every day. Very helpful English-speaking receptionists. Very good value for money.
Rather forbidding Eastern Bloc exterior and entrance. The catering staff and cleaning staff appeared not to speak English which was a disadvantage. Breakfasts, included in the price, were monotonous and unappetising. Hotel would benefit from a lift.
Everything was ok for that price. The room was old-fashion, but WC was normally equipped. Free breakfast.
We were living on 6th floor and there was no elevator.
Location, food, internet doesn't work, smell. I'd never stay again at this hotel.
good value for price and service..breackfast good and no shared bathroom
noise...if the neighbour weake up you also do it...(unless they are very carefull)...nothing really bad anyway
nice breakfast, good Wi-Fi connection, nice staff, comortable beds, clean, great ratio quality/price
not 24/7 reception
quiet, simple rooms, decent breakfast, front desk staff extremely kind, alert, and helpful
some rooms aren't as comfortable as others...
