Opened in March 2006, the Islande Hotel is located in the centre of Riga with a great view of the Daugava, Latvia's most important river.

The hotel offers all the facilities, services and comfort that are typical of a 4-star hotel. To reach the Old Town of Riga, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you just need to cross the bridge over the river.

The Arctic Lights restaurant is located on the 9th floor, offering a picturesque view of the Riga panorama. The menu offers a wide range of delicious food, as well as a good choice of drinks and cocktails.
Opening hours: 11:00 - 01:00.

The Islande bowling bar also offers you a large selection of cocktails and drinks, as well as delicious snacks. You will be met by professional and kind staff, who will take good care of you.
Opening hours: 12:00 - 24:00.

The Lobby Bar, located in the hotel lobby, is where you can enjoy aromatic tea and coffee of the highest quality.
Opening hours: 10:00 - 24:00.

Room service is available from 07:00 until 01:00.

Very nice and modern hotel. Very good buffet for breakfast. There is a shuttle to the airport (only 5 lvl). Bonus : a great bowling club in the hotel!!

Spacious room, good breakfast. Value for money.

They say you can pay in Euros, but this is not strictly true - you cannot pay the exact amount in Euro. You have to pay more, so they can give you change in Latvian Lats. This was very annoying, since I had come prepared with the exact amount in Euros; then had to put it on my card because they would not take the 1 euro I wanted to use to pay I.E. to make 66 Euros. Rather say No Euros then.

Location is not bad for me. It is necesssary cross just one bridge to reach old city.

In SPA , I paid massage fee separately . But in hotel guide was written as ''massage fee will/can charge to your hotel bill.

Staff was pleasant and all worked well. Airport shuttle bus and taxiservice worked good by hotel.

If hotel sella post cards and mailbox middle of lobby, there ought to be stamps near by inside the hotel.

very clean and well-kept hotel. Very nice summer grill bar/terrace with great view at the top floor of the hotel.

Distance to town is abt 15mins walk - which can be a bit of a chore at the end of the day.
