Hotel Jurmala Spa  

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and light. I like very much big windows. The spa complex is ok, there are 5 sauns and a lot of swimming- pools, but I would like that temperatura was higher, as it was rather cold to spend more than 10 minutes in water. The breakfast is good, but there are no fresh juice and tasty coffe.

We where travelling as a young couple for a spa weekend. The good things was the "Romantic Candle Light Dinner" and most of the spa threatments were good (except that the neck zone massage that my girlfriend had, was too hard). Two persons of the service personell was friendly and service minded (some of the other could be better). The room was Ok except the noise from the Seaside bar at 11 floor, as explained below.

- The party music from level 11 at friday and saturday was too loud before 02.00 o'clock, so I could'nt sleep in the 6th level, and we had too move to the 4th level to be able to sleep. - Any SPA I have been to previously, has provided slippers to be used in the SPA, but Hotel Jurmala Spa did not. - When we were to enter the SPA bath, they only gave us one wardrobe key to be shared, which I could'nt use, because she went to the girl wardrobe, and I went to the boy wardrobe. It might have been because I had forgotten our room card (not the room number), but anyway, the lady at the desk in the SPA bath was not very service minded, she almost overlooked us for some reason. - The breakfast could have been better. For instance, the eggs were a bit overcocked. - Some of the staff was a bit rude I think. - The SPA bath zone was a bit small I think.

The location was the good about 5-7min walk to beach. In price included pool and saunas till 18PM. Free wifi in rooms. Good breakfast.

Breakfast awful. Some stuff rude(sauna and pool reception area). Pay 7Lats for bathrobe? For one use?

Beautiful SPA and hotel location

On weekend it was very loud music from the bar on 11 floor. At the reception they said the music will go on till 2 morning. So we had to move. Its post Soviet big hotel after not the best maintenance. I really did not like bathroom. It is dark and uncozy. Lots of russian people (по путевке).

Good, big spa, Good breakfast. Good bed! Helpfull and kind staff.

Old hotel, post soviet feeling, needs to be rekonstructed. Didn't like the pool-old, craudy and no kleen.

Staff friendliness, spa facilities, nice location, reasonable cost

My wife who stayed in Jurmala Spa enjoyed her stay, her only remark was that during 4 nights the floor in the room wasn't cleaned a single time

Do cycling in jurmala, but don't hire bycicles in the hotel. Do it in some small shop in the city. There is one very nice with very good bikes and better prices near Baltjc beach hotel. It is 5 min walk from jurmala spa hotel.

Everithing is pretty good

The spas and the pools, but they have many restrictions to use them (you have to pay an extra fee after 6 pm).

Paying extra money for pools and sauna.
