The rooms were very simple (I had double room). Rooms did not correspond at all to description on booking.com. Of what was mentioned there were no radio, dvd Player, cd Player, Video, Flat-screen tv (only a fat one), Iron, Desk, Ironing Facilities, Seating Area, Sofa, Tea/Coffee Maker, Minibar, Electric Kettle. And there was no glass of milk with honey at bedtime, however I did not request it. Furthermore the sound insulation was non-existing, I was listening to snoring from another room. There was access to the pool area in the morning, but all the saunas were turned off. Massage was a bit disappointing as it was very light.

The interior and the exterior is very nice and cosy.

Breakfast was continental( they were mention that) but they served only cheese, cottage cheese, some ham, musli and some vegetables. No pastries at all, no berries( in july are a lot of berries) Bread is from supermarket( standard).Only second day we got some strawberries because other people came to the hotel. Spa treatment was also was average. instead of having scrub and massage.I got only massage and when i asked why there is no scrub,masseuse reply that chocolate butter is together with scrub. It looks that she was in a hurry to go back home. they even forgot to clean up our room till we did not ask TWICE to send somebody. So if you want to go for one night its ok because nature is very nice and the hotel itself is beautiful.

It is a beautiful place with fantastic setting and view. The staff (seemingly students doing holiday work?) are super friendly and tried their best. The rooms are comfy and pretty.

We were disappointed that we did not get our glass of warm milk with honey at bedtime (one of the reasons we booked the place in the first place) two of the dishes we wanted to eat for dinner were not available (trout, one of their star dishes and beef steak), the venison and chicken were overcooked and the potatoes ice cold. We also waited for over an hour for our food, with no litthle bread basket to tie us over. The wine was extremely expensive. But the cheese soup was heavenly. Also disappointed that we could not partake of the spa rituals as the 'master' was not available. We apparently had to book treatments a week in advance, and this was not mentioned on their website. Our stay as Berghof was supposed to be the highlight at the end of a two week trip in Latvia where we treated ourselves to gourmet food and unique spa treatments, but sadly that was not the case. A real pity as it was quite expensive. They should update their website so they don't get people's hopes up.

Private Atmosphäre & sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes Ambiente.

Nicht in allen Zimmern gibt es einen Fernseher. Die Weinkarte ist überteuert.

Ļoti laba virtuve, mājigs restorāns, laba apkalpošana.

Ne līdz galam ērti numuri, piemēram, nebija kur pakārt mēteli.
