Very romantic place, with a little pond in front of the manor; the room is a very romantic attic. A lovely place into the Gauja river Park: only an advice, Karli is not a Cesis address, but a little country near Cesis. So it is not easy to find, but when you find it, it's amazing and charming! The dinner is poor, only a tomato soup and rice with carrots, I dont suggest to buy the meal, but only the room, that instead is very nice and I porposely suggest it !!

Everything was ok. It is highly recommended to choose this place. Very nice, stylish country house with interesting history. A lot of sightseeing possibilities, a range of different bike excursions. I would be happy if I had a chance to go there again.

Great natural setting only an hour from Riga. Quaint old building with scenic walks in the woods starting in the yard. We came for a summer getaway in the countryside and Karlamuiza is very convenient to other attractions in the Gauja national park.

Very peaceful location. Nice and clean and spacious. Directions to the Inn could be better, as it is rather hard to find. Cesis, the town nearby is just lovely. Did not like the hair dryer, as it is hard for someone with hand problems to hold the ON button.

The atmosphere was absolutely fabulous. The staff made our stay so pleasant that even the thought of leaving made us sad (we seldom hug staff when we leave...). It was a good base for biking, paddling, taking the bus to a bigger city, or just relaxing in the two-person-hammock. The silence was sweet. A special feature was the fixed prize dinner with no options; the staff cooked a different meal every evening, improvising, using own produce (honey, apples, berries) and locally produced food.

Wonderful spot, nice, large and confortable rooms, lovely family managing the hotel. Breakfast and diner also was very excellent. Our best experience in Latvia.

Spacious, clean, really nice apartments. Breakfast was good Very kind and helpfull personnel - doing more than could expect. Thank you for that :) In the garden was a lovely barbecue place where you could make and enjoy your own meals. We really enjoyed our stay in Karlamuiza and will definitely come back again if going to Cesis. We were there with our two cats and the place was perfect to all of us.. The hotel was outside the city center but going there with a car - it was no problem.

Very charming manor handled by a very friendly person, we spent just one night at Karlamuiza, we did appreciate a lot the service provided, we highly recommend it (its typical breakfast is unforgetable)

The place is idyllic and has beautiful interiour. The very friendly owners run the place themselves and are really interested in your wellbeing and comfort. Unfortunately it was freezing cold in our room and also the breakfast-room. While this is somehow understandable with the outside-temperatures of -24°C, it still does not add to a comfortable night of sleep. The kitchen could be a little better - I would next time rather eat out in Cesis than in Karlamuiza.

Kārļamuižā mums patika pati ēka (nedaudz Itāļu noskaņās). Iekārtojums, mājīgums, koka grīdas :)!Klusa, lieliskai atpūtai paredzēta vieta.Mierīga vide, kur sakārtot domas un doties tālāk stressa pilnajā ikdienā!
