The staff were wonderful, good English, extremely helpful. The place was clean and reasonably spacious, and you couldn't beat the location. A winner

The hotel is suited in the very centre of Old Riga. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room war clean. Location is perfect! Just a couple of minutes to get to the Townhall Square.

We really enjoyed the location!!! It was amazing, we could get anywhere within 3 minutes on foot! Another thing is that everyone in the hotel was really friendly and nice. The breakfast was quite alright, I mean it wasn't awful, it was rather modest, but really nice and tasty. Just in front if the hotel there are an amazing bakery with magnificent cakes, a pub, a restaurant and many other places with nice cuisine and nice prices. The room was cleaned every day! We were really satusfied with everything! When we needed an iron, it was given immediately with a kind smile. When I asked for a bottle-screw, I was offered to use glasses for wine for free, it was really nice of them to offer. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to have a nice vacation for nice money ! ;)

There was nothing to worry about.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location for those that wish to explore the heart of Riga. I booked a standard room but it was upgraded for free which was a pleasant surprise! The staff are friendly and courteous and the room was incredibly clean with a great view. Street noise wasn't a problem for us so overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It's incredible value and feel happy to recommend it to others.

There wasn't a kettle in our room! I'm English so tea is an essential requirement. In addition, I stated a preference for a double bed but we got two singles pushed close together - not a big deal but not great either. Breakfast was very simple but given the price point of this hotel, it's entirely understandable - could have done with some bigger cups for coffee, though! Oh, I didn't ask at reception, but an ironing board/iron would have been very useful!

A small fridge, water boiler, locker are missing but more importantly, twin blanket for a double bed was surprising to us.. Our room was at the fifth floor and cold.. Only one small radiator for the entire room should be enough for fresh spring nights but not for cold winter..

Staff were really polite even if probably I was not the best guest ever (booked several times then cancelled). At my arrival the guy at reception gave me a lot of information plus reset the modem because I could not surf internet (fixed in the end). The room booked was a good one even if honestly I was expecting something better (32). Bathroom and its shower are big, television offers few channels (but I did not care at all). Walls are not that soundproof but not a problem. Breakfast was honest but maybe it's just me who is used to have a huge meal in the morning. When leaving, I left my suitcase at the reception and they kept it till evening.

As already written, I was expecting a better room but really it was not a bad one. I probably would have appreciated more choice for breakfast (but again, very personal).

The location of the hotel was excellent. Located right in the heart of the Old Town, it provided us with access to all the sights and attractions. The service was nice and friendly as well and we were able to check in at 11 in the morning already as well.

As mentioned by the other reviewers, it was a bit noisy on the weekend, however for anyone who has lived in a big city, this should not be too detrimental for sleep.
