Hotel Kolumbs  

We were upgraded to a Suite, so all was very luxery. Ordenary rooms are quite small. Breakfast was good, wifi fast. Staff very helpful and friendly

Water pressure very low in shower

Clean, very polite and welcoming staff. Very comfortable bed, good food, car park in court lit during night. Bible in room. Tasteful decoration.

Towels too small, no extra toilet roll, desk in dark corner with no table lamp, only one bedside lamp. Television had neither the Latvian national channel, Lithuanian (Liepaja is close to border) or anything in German (many German guests). Definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised. Fine for 3-star.

It's a nice hotel in the centre of Liepaja! Perfect price and welcoming atmosphere!

Breakfast could be richer, no porridge!

I really liked the reception staff especially male receptionist he was very helpful and knew his job very well. I will recommend this place to my friends and will come back next year!

The welcome was warm and nice. Car parking is inside yard and secure. The room was great desing and bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately the breakfast was very poor!

Great internet, great staff, wonderful facilities, breakfast buffet was very international and very tasty, everything was tastefully done by the hotel in every respect.

We get nice room with big window

Staff is the worth I ever seen. Thoughts changing after every 10 minutes and between staff. One tells Yes other No the some question. In the bathroom is only 20W electricity - you cant do anything with your technics. Staff gave dirty long cabel to get electricity from room. One day Breakfast omlet is for free, second cost 2 LVL. In the restaurant you cant drink breakfast coffee if there are no places in main room, must wait 10 minutes, but restaurant tables stay free. The worth is that Kolumbs have 4 stars - where they are? Not more than 2 and half only because of bad staff. Elevator dont work and we didnt saw that in three days somebody tries to repair it.

Good location, good price, tasty breakfast, clean room.

Very bad room isolation, you can hear every sound from outside and inside hotel, there is no air conditioning in the room. The staff at the reception is terrible (every time you have to wait for ''that lady'', she was not polite and so much more.. ). Tu sum up, it's definitely not a 4* hotel, I can't imagine how they get a 4*...

Perfect hotel

Comfortable room, ok breakfast, close to the centre and the sea-side (5-10 min walk).

Our room was a bit noisy in the morning because faced to the street.. but we were warned by the reception beforehand, so we didn't mind.

In hot summer needs condicioner, but there are not nothing like that.

Hotel is very good- clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent atmosphere. I would definitely stay again there.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpfull. She communicated with us like with the very welcomed guests. Room was large, free parking.

Poor inside/outised isolation, therefore you can hear lauder speaking neighbours and birds outside;no air conditioning and therefore it was a bit too warm in the room. However the staff at breakfast was not friendly at all! You should guess by yourself that for the hot dish you should ask from waitres(there is a menu for it, but nobody provided it to us volunterelly, we noticed other guest eating something different that is served on the main table and asked for it)

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Great location just 5 min walk from the sandy beach. Great design, comfortable room. You can enjoy sunny mornings on your balcony and calm evenings. We stayed on the top floor. Comfortable beds. Air conditioner. Hotel has a secure car park. We really enjoyed our breakfast, nice coffee, fresh food and selection of candy bar, which is handy for a sweet tooth. Special thanks to receptionist Janis. He is very friendly, welcoming, smiling professional. We'll be happy to stay in this hotel again.

Good hotel close to the centre, rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good with a nice omelete on offer. There was a direct tram from the railway station to just behind the hotel
