If you would like to enjoy Riga's history, you will receive the warmest welcome at the historic hotel Ekes Konvents, which occupies the house where Riga's first hotel for visitors to the city opened...
Score from 258 reviews Excellent
Location, breakfast, staff.
The pillow is very hard.
Peace and quiet
The service in the restaurant during the dinner poor. Although many free laden tables, I was invited to sit down at a table not laden and instead to put a table cloth, as normally, the lady put a napkin taken from a nearby table. The napkin was with holes in the fabric. Not a good service at all.
Nice hotel in the very heart of Riga
Too hard pillows...:(
furniture , floor,
Fab location, spacious room, quiet courtyard.. and the price above all!
At the price of forty euro per night, there's very little not to like. Breakfast could be, how shall I put it, more inspired?
I thought the location right in the centre of The Old Town was great. It was a good size room and excellent value for money. The room was very clean and reception staff were helpful and fixed problems quickly.
Quiet peaceful close to good bars n food joints
Location and staff.
Very bad lightening in the room, small shower, too big pillow, no carpet. Poor internet in the room which was in the corner of the building.
Location, really friendly and helpful staff.
For me everything was OK, for my co-travellers... hmm... they were a little bit unhappy with too big pillow for their taste and they also complained a bit about the quality of morning coffee. Plus, however advertised, it was impossible to order cappuccinos (for some extra payment, of course) in the morning at 9:30. Because, as we were told, the coffee-making person haven't yet arrived...
Located in the heart of the old city. Walking distance to any place and entertainment. Single room was spacious with the view to rooftops of old buildings and St.Peter Church. Kind stuff. Very clean room. Excellent breakfast choice.
Central Location, helpful staff, restaurant excellent too
Breakfast needs better range not everyone likes salad for breakfast
It's right in the city center, able to walk everywhere. Good value and many sites to visit.
Hotel in the center of Riga. The staff were really great.
That after some windows in the hotel after 8:00 am going on excursions. Well but nothing interesting to hear once again the old story of Riga :)
It was Christmas, but the tv did not work for whole three days in all hotel. We wanted to put on a concert in the evening or a cartoon for kids in the morning to let us sleep on a bit,but no such luck.
Comfortable, friendly staff, brilliant location, good value for money.
Nothing bad to say, it was good
It is in the heart of old city, you can reach every monument in few minutes.
The hotel was very nice and modern, the breakfast was very good and the room quite comfortable. We had a great time there and I'd love to repeat it soon.
Breakfast - fast and good.
Staff were friendly and spoke English. They were very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was fresh and there was a good selection. We loved the courtyard and all the history attached to the convent.
We liked everything and will return
Location, breakfast, bed, size of the room, lobby,
Treading across mews of Old Riga with views of old spires and contemporary Galleria Centres you find a calm refuge in Koventa Seta. The smiles playing on the shiny eager and attentive staff makes you feel warm to the soul; despite the wintery cold outside as was the case in November itinerary for me. By the way Big Christopher is a local legend which you will find out about when you get there ...
Location and car parking proximity
friendly staff great location value for money
porr wifi and tv signals
