Staff was very friendly, esp. Head receptionist Inga. We liked the hotel very much and gladly recommend it. Close to sights, cafés and restaurants all over Old Riga, + railway and coach stations.

Service at the restaurant Ambiente was a bit slow (but was compensated by flexibility about opening hours next day).

One reception member was very friendly, all other were uninterested in us, not even greeting us. Thats a shame as the hotel is beautiful and all other like maid and breakfast personel was really polite. The room was big, a bit outdated furniture but clean. Great price and huge breakfast buffet...

Location excellent - right in the centre. Had a lovely room with a view over the courtyard. Staff were very helpful and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was fantastic - loads of choice and eat as much as you can - no need to buy lunch! Would definitely stay there in preference to other hotels in Riga.

Staff were professional and cared about you. The hotel was spotlessly clean. It was in a great location with everything within walking distance and despite the weather being very cold, the hotel was warm and cosy.

Booked a double room, got twin beds! Breakfast - good selection though wasn't always topped up.

Location is perfect - very close to all sights and bus stop so it's very easy to get the airport. Room is big and there is warm inside - you can regulate radiators and easily get comfortable temperature. Staff is polite. Breakfast is tasty and varied.

i'd like room to be more lighting.

Location is perfect. Just in the Old town center. Good for shopping, supermarket Rimi is just in few steps. It's my 4th time in this hotel and i find it perfect for short stay. Very calm.

Rather poor breakfast. Cold coffee. Last time in 2010-2011 it was better.

Lift is only in one building out of seven, you should go upstairs with laggage. Parking near hotel is extremely expensive for Riga.
