Art Hotel Laine

The staff was very polite, helpfull and very nice, warm. The design of hotel, rooms and restaurant tastefull. Also I loved the food in restaurant, especialy that it was made fresh and with love, so becouse of that it was very delicious. thank you for your attention to every guest in hotel and everything that your staff did.

The scent of canalisacion was very bad, the otrher things were very nice.

We stayed at Laine for 3 nights and really liked this hotel. Hotel has a good location, very close to old town. Chef was a real virtuoso.  We really recommend to try any dishes from the kitchen menu – you will get a best quality for the good price.

Clean room and a good value. Location was good too. Within walking distance of old town Riga.

The bed was really sweaky, to the point that it would wake us up in the night if anyone moved.

Excellent location. Staff was really nice and helpfull, offering us a better room,instead of the one that was booked for us initially, but of inappropriate quality. We got the penthouse Lux with excellent wiev and terrace (for additional cost, of course). Breakfast- ok.

Furntiture and finish of rooms are worn out ower 15 years of hotel's existence. Too cheap and inappropriate materials used for the rather stylish image that hotel tries to establish ower internet and booklets. It makes hard to distinct wether the room is poorly cleaned or it is just not possible to clean it better. Poor ventilation in rooms.

perfect location

The staff were very accommodating; the hotel decor gave a taste of early- to -mid-20th century but with modern comforts and stylish touches; we were able to sit on the terrace one evening with our own bottle of wine, keeping cozy with blankets provided by staff, and talking until midnight; wi fi in the rooms was excellent; breakfast was lovely; and generally I didn't want to leave. For the price it was an incredible bargain -- I highly recommend it.

The bed sheets weren't very soft.

Your reception staff was very helpful when searching information of sights and other objects (Zoo, open-air museum). The breakfast was very good and enjoyable.

Your offering for supper was expensive and there was no a choice of something like sandwiches and other "little eating".

The staff was very welcoming and made the stay very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my second stay at the hotel. I had a great experience during my first stay and returned to this hotel. I very much enjoyed this stay again.

Courteous, helpful staff. Position of hotel meant only a 15 min stroll to the old town. Good wholesome breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel quiet and discreet.

Pleasant people. Reasonably quite at night. Good location in general.
