Fantastic views from the restaurant on the tenth floor. The worst coffee I have ever had. Very poor grade breakfast. Old style soviet hotel which needs upgrades.Walking distance to beach but needs a hotel run shuttle bus to downtown Jurmala.

Perfect location! The hotel is just so "out-of-date"... Both the exterior and the interior savours of Soviet times.On the other hand, on holiday all you need a hotel for is a bed to get a good night sleep, so I am not always bothered about the condition of a room. But I could hardly imagine chilling inside Lielupe hotel if the weather is bad and you cannot go to the beach.

Topfloor restaurant served decent food and had magnificent views. Nice lobby area and peaceful outdoor pool. As usually in eastern european countries, the customer service could be better. Wifi does not work on peak-times if the hotel is fully booked, since it only seems to accept limited number of connections. The hotel is quite far away from the pedestrian centre of Jurmala. This is not a problem if you're travelling by own car - the hotel has free guarded parking.

The location. Hotel rooms were very spacios comparing with standard of city hotels. I did not like the Restaurant Food. Food was too basic, cafeteria like.

I like that the beach was so close to the hotel and the staff really helped when we couldn't reopen the safe the cost was good I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to have a meal there because I was told it was good food, loved the snow and then having a sauna and chat with other people from all over Europe made my stay special. My only very small thing I would like to put here is could you make it clear if the sauna is clothed or naked I'm a fan of naked in sauna as it should be but some didn't like seeing nakedness even though more people were naked than clothed only about 3 out of the 15 had clothes. Apart from that small thing I really liked my stay.

location, parking soulless, no pillows in bedroom (just lumpy sacks of fluff - unusable), bathroom had no ventilation at all giving a reek of damp and mould emanating into the bedroom.Absolutely awful.

The lady at the reception was very nice and professional. Renovated large rooms. Full size indoor swimming pool. Restaurant on 10th floor had a great view of the beach. The food was very high quality and reasonably priced. It is a pity that no gym/fitness facilities were available. There are plenty of rooms which can be used for that purpose. Just some free weights, mirrors and basic equipment will do. No need for expensive Technogym machines!
