The centrally located Hotel Liva is Liepaja’s largest hotel and is within walking distance of Liepaja's main attractions. Liepaja’s sandy beach is a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel's Restaurant Upe is one of the top restaurants in town. A healthy and hearty buffet breakfast is offered there. Delicious cuisine is served during lunch and dinner. The restaurant bar has the longest bar counter in the Kurzeme region and offers a wide assortment of beverages. Hotel Liva's rooms are comfortably and individually furnished with a seating area and a work desk. The private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and toiletries. Depending on the location of your room, you can enjoy either the view of the famous St. Trinity church or of the lovely Square of Roses. Excellent location in centre of town, reasonable price, staff very accommodating when we had to change dates. The price of breakfast is almost the same as the accommodation, so we skipped it - get a travel kettle! The restaurant used to be almost gourmet but they seem to have a different chef now.

The room was very dirty, especially the floor and the bathtub. The windows had not been cleaned for a very long time. The batteries in the TV remote was flat and both bedside lamps had no functioning light bulbs.

The location was convenient for our business. The room and the bathroom were very small. The carpet had dirty spots and the bathroom had some mold and didn't seem clean. It was not a good room for the amount of money we paid. The breakfast which we had to pay for was inadequate. We will not stay there again.

though in booking.com description it was said that parking space and wi-fi are free, they charged us for parking space and wanted to do the same for wi-fi.

Good price when staying many people at the same time Worst staff ever experienced out of hundreds of hotels visited. Should be completely retrained or replaced. From entering the reception you are met with hostility, and feel like you have done something wrong to stay at the hotel, and stays like that all through stay. It says on booking.com that wireless is free (we chose hotel because of this), but it is NOT. Cost 20 Eurocents per minute. Rooms are ok for the price, location (super in the middle of the city), ok bathroom. low-medium quality breakfast (good coffee machine) (but not worth the 5 Euros). Good to very good conference rooms (but only 1 wifi access in total which only allows for 1 user even if you are many people). Would recommend if staff retrained/replaced and free wifi

Great price/quality combination. Very nice hotel. Perfect location in the historical center of city. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with nice views looking out. Good and various breakfast. I'd definitely come back when in Liepaja

Nothing special. Everything normal. Excellent location of the hotel: city center, near the sea, near a shopping center and many cafes and restaurants which can be delicious and inexpensive food and drink.

Laba atrašanās vieta, labas brokastis Nesmēķētāju numuriņā pēc cigaretēm smirdēja pat vannas istabas aizkari. Dvieļiem apspūrušas malas, viena sega, pusrullītis tualetes papīra...Samaksa uzreiz ierodoties -- tā nav bijis nevienā pasaules viesnīcā, kurā esmu bijusi pēdējo 5 gadu laikā.

Viesnīca atrodas pilsētas centrā. Naktī ir kluss. Laba satiksme ar Rīgu. Tuvumā iespējas izklaidēties, paēst, iepirkties. Pludmale nav tālu. Istabā bija ne visai tīra grīda, grīdas segums novecojis.
