Maritim Park Hotel Riga    

This is OK for business travellers if you are with car. For meetings we didn't find this very convenient, data projectors comes with additional price :(

Room was quite warm and we didn't succeed to turn heat down.

Good friendly and helpfull staff, fresh and tasty breakfast. Only great memories

The hotel is not near the Old City, about 35-40 minutes far from there.

Free Parking, free wifi. Fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, Good sized modern clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Modern flat screen TV with BBC channel. Very good room rate for what you get. Tram stop for 5 min tram ride to city right outside hotel.

Nothing to dislike in this hotel. It is excellent.

Good breakfasts and comfortable beds.

Staff didn't smile and make you feel particularly welcome, although they were always polite.

Tv had two 24 hr unsecured porn channels which can be accidentally switched by children or simply the people who aren't eager to watch port at 7am. Room had rather strong smell of air freshener or carpet cleaner.

Room service- very punctual and good. breakfast was great and very rich.

The room is spacious, breakfast is very nice. Overall, very nice hotel.

I recently stayed at the Maritim Park with a group of friends.We were very impressed with the size of our rooms. We had booked a deluxe double and a standard triple room as they were one of the very few hotels in Riga that offered a decent spec triple room. We were actually given two triple rooms with the features of a deluxe room. The rooms were light and airy with huge windows and we had a fantastic view of the snow covered park. We were on the sixth floor and could see for miles around. A few metres from our hotel was a tram stop.....only three stops into the old town. Breakfast was included and there was a brilliant choice of hot and cold food, nicely cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was being renovated but this was not an issue as the area under construction was sealed off. This still left a large check in area. The hotel was very quiet and the beds remarkably comfortable! Hotel bar prices were very reasonable too (drinks). If I were to return to Riga I wouldnt even bother looking at other hotels....WE Loved it!

It was written fitness is close till end of january but it was closed during my stay.actually why I chosed hotels just because of fitness centers.

Yes, I need to write about that. We were booked a standard room in 4* hotel. Everything was good,clear, but when I enter the bathroom there were no any shampoo and toothpaste and any air fresh. And I was very surprised as I travel a lot round the world and even 3* hotel offer to their client such small things. So I ask to bring to my room something. At first I was told that I should not compare the stay in turkey with Latvia hotel.i was quite surprised as I had never been in Turkey)))) I just wish to make it clear to hotel holder that it is a worldwide standard to give to every clients such small equipments into bathroom. As the visitors should not thing when he goes to 4* hotel that he should go to city to look for supermarket and need to buy big toothpaste . It is just not serious attitude. And more one thing. It is bad construction of windows. It was very cold on our room as cold air flow me from windows and a become ill of it

Price. High enough. Booking via hotel's website is far cheaper. I was unable to extend booking and the Staff refused to merge two my bookings resulting in higher night price for the second part. Some dirt on the floor and holes in the window blinds...

Good breakfast with various dishes of any kind, clean nice-looking rooms, a small spa complex with sauna and cosmetic procedures (very good massage).

Not centrally located, but it's only 10-15 min tram trip to the center. Rooms are rather small, not enough space for luggage.

Old rooms (furniture, tv, bathroom etc.), untasty breakfast, rude waitress, breakfast area sitting capacity is too small for the number of staying guests, location is far away from the center (approx. 25 minutes across the very windy river or 5 euros by taxi at night)

The hotel was very modern, clean and easy access to the old town and city centre. Staff were very polite and helpful, even before arrival.

A little far from old town for walk, but you can get there by a tram or a bus.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! When searching for a hotel in Riga, my priority was a location: I wanted to stay close enough to the downtown but remote from noise and crowds. Maritim has an absolutely perfect location: with a picture-perfect park at the front doors, the hotel is just 3 streetcar stops away from the centre of the city. My busy day schedule in downtown felt perfectly balanced after relaxing walks in the evening at the park. The view from my room was breathtaking: the old city surrounded by a leash of beautiful trees and trails. You can’t ask for more!

Fitness room needs some improvement, however when the place offers you such a comfort, you aren't really craving a workout.

A Nice, Clean Hotel with Excellent Food and Service

we were given a superior room, 34 m2 and a balcony, for the price of a normal room, so it was a very pleasurable experience
